  2. I can usually find my stuff, unless one of my teens decides to "help" me by clearing off my computer stand...then I'll probably find it in a year or two...

  4. nanc: OK, I'll take yours & have two for me ;-) I'm a bit of a packrat.

tmw: I can usually find my stuff too, but there are times when I can't find a book when I need it. It drives me nuts.

  6. I can't clutter my desk right now... The lights flickered yesterday, and the computer went dead. Totally, utterly dead. Apparently, the power supply is burned out. Heaven help us if any other hardware got damaged...

I feel like my best friend has died. :( Hopefully, the hubby can fix it; I'm restricted to the laptop for now.

  9. Yeah, I'd definitely need something stronger than a clutter fairy...maybe a clutter wizard or a clutter demon. A clutter dragon could probably burn some of it away, but if I wanted my stuff burned, I wouldn't have clutter to begin with, so in conclusion I don't think it would be a good idea after all. :)

  10. brooke: when our old computer died, we had all it's data put into an external hard drive. Sort of like the computer's Katra. At least we didn't lose everything.

  11. raggedy: I hear you.

bw: Sounds like a plan, especially the housework fairy.

mcf: Yikes. I can see where the dragon fairy would be counterproductive.

  12. Fortunately, our laptop contains much of what our desktop has.

Hopefully, the power supply was the only thing damaged, and none of the drives or other hardware.

Hopefully, too, the repair will only cost as much as our firstborn and not all three of 'em. ;)

  13. brooke: Good luck! My laptop began to act weird exactly 2 weeks after the one year warranty expired. Geek Squad isn't cheap, but they're reliable.
