Empire Strike

The Empire Strike Building

There was no damage to the 1,454ft Empire State Building.

The lightning rod at its very top absorbs such strikes around 100 times a year.

This photo is too cool. I wish I had taken it.

And then Hilary left the building

  9. brooke: Every time I went up the Empire State building, it was always a nice day. I never pressed it, but I think the lightning rod at the top keeps the folks in the building safe.

  13. minka: birdwoman joked that it was Hillary Clinton who was created in that lightning stike.

As far as the Mirror Universe cat, we really don't know what causes the slippage into that parallel mirror world. It's just part of Star Trek lore.
