Yes, the sun did come out today --finally, but it's cold! You picked a sorry weekend to come to Florida. I wish our weather would've been more hospitable.
As far as the Giants go, I lived in Manhattan for 7 years but I wasn't into football back then, so I was never a fan.
As far as the Super Bowl goes, I will definitely root for the Giants over the Patriots.
jill: Yeah, I had high hopes for Peyton via Coach Dungy (who used to coach the Bucs, and whom I thought should've been given another year here in Florida).
I guess we'll just have to get behind Eli. Poor kid finally got away from his big brother's shadow. That's a good thing.
Am not upset at all. I had a really lousy manager years ago who was a major, I mean major, cheese head at a previous job. I have disliked the Packers ever since. I can't think of them without thinking of him.
I wanted to see the Packers win but I'm not a fan of any of the teams involved this year.
I think Favre and the Packers were beaten by the cold and ran out of juice towards the end of the game, which seems very un-Packer like, but in Favre's defense, he's no spring chicken.
Every single team I was for in the play offs this years lost every single game they played. Every one. I think I will hire my talents out to the NFL highest bidder.
Go Giants!!..Its sunny in Fla today Cube!

I really thought the Packers would win. But I also hoped for Manning vs Manning. Guess I will have to go for the Giants. Sigh.

I'm not upset. Both teams performed very well under harsh conditions.

A Packers win would have been cool, but, The Giants have really turned things around, so good for them, even though they won't win it all.
ReplyDeletebr: Not all Cheeseheads are bad. I know quite a few nice ones.
ReplyDeletebrooke: True.
doglover: Conditions were brutal. Spring chicken or not, Favre made it to a championship game. No small feat.
jan: heh heh. Get in line.
bw: Cowboys? :-P
zydeco: Wouldn't it be a gas if they did? Woot!
