During the middle ages, in Europe, cats were singled out for persecution as well. The result? The black death or black plague which killed upward to 63% of the population in Europe. No cats meant no means to keep the rats in check which helped the sickness spread and grow into a pandemic. China has rats (although they do eat them.) The city where the Olympics are to be held, as do most cities, have lots of rats. All I am saying is, a plague on cat killers? perhaps.
First the cats, then the people - or is that vice versa?
It's a moral obscenity that China is hosting the Olympics.
I won't be watching.
Shame on all who made this unfathomable decision.
This is not an incentive for China to address human (or animal) rights: this is condoning and colluding in barbarism. Anyone who believes otherwise is a deluded fool.
Caz-We haven't watched the Olympics in years, why? Because it is so political AND pc I can't stomach it! And Red China(I know, NOT pc, but I don't care)should not be encouraged or coddled in any way! Good morning, G*D bless and Maranatha!
Remember that under Mao, all pets(dogs, cats, birds)were ruthlessly destroyed. They did end up with all sorts of problems with; mice, rats and insects...looks like they are headed back to their roots! Anything that brings joy or pleasure outside of the governmental dictates is verboten! So petting a dog or cat is a 'sin'! Good morning, G*D bless and Maranatha!
I had read about this...cruelty prevails in a godless culture. Sorry, but it's true.

Maybe cats will get their revenge by launching an attack during one of the Olympic events.
ReplyDeleteHey... it COULD happen!

Yikes. Next thing you know, they'll start abusing political prisoners.
ReplyDeleteEverything is disposable to communists.
ReplyDeleteBarbaric bastards!
ReplyDeleteAnd I hope that a plague of rats decends upon them as a result of their cruelty and ignorance.
