Pro Golfer Isenhour Apologizes For Killing Hawk, Humane Society Taking Action This made me so angry. You can bet your bottom dollar that had I been standing around while this jerk took shot after shot at this beautiful creature, I'd have had a few choice things to say.
I always have to wonder what sickos like this have in mind to take a beautiful life that is doing no harm to anyone.
ReplyDelete"As soon as this happened, I was mortified and extremely upset and continue to be upset," Isenhour said in a statement issued through his management company, SFX Golf. "I want to let everyone know there was neither any malice nor deliberate intent whatsoever to hit or harm the hawk. I was trying to simply scare it into flying away."
ReplyDeleteBullshit. Surely he realizes how lame that sounds. My six-year-old could come up with something better.
This guy is a coward, a narcisus and a thug. If a 350lb. linebacker were making noise he wouldn't dare say a word, but let an animal make noise and he'll kill it.
jan: I know. We get red-tailed hawks around here. When we hear a bunch of pissed off blue jays we know there's one around. If I hear their call, I usually run outside & try to get a look, maybe even a picture.
ReplyDeletebrooke: You are so right. He was heard to say, after taking 6 shots, that he'd get it now.
This idiot sounds like he should take up golfing in a vacuum. No distracting sounds there ;-)
Meanwhile 15 other idiots stood around & said or did nothing to stop him. What a bunch of jerks.
They should line this guy up and take turns blasting away at him.
ReplyDeleteI just wrote a report about an attack upon my right to honestly blog about teaching. Please read it and give me your comments.
Cube if I had your mind and skills I would just burn my blog down. You really are a textbook blogger and one of the best out there.
ReplyDeleteThis would made and should make any real human being, in the truest and best sense of those two words, disgusted beyond words and filled with contempt toward this guy or any other person who would do likewise. The only thing that would or will have any lasting impact on this non-human that walks like a human, is for the PGA to pull his card/membership and some jail time.
ReplyDeleterw
aw the bird is beautiful too Cube..sigh
ReplyDeleteMy daughter read a news report about this to me yesterday. That guy is such a major putz!!
ReplyDeleteI say we stand him up against a wall, and let's hit golf balls at him. Wouldn't that be fun??!!
Jerk?
ReplyDeleteAahh, you are being far too kind Cubicle.
The question that needs to be asked of him is why he needed, or felt some entitlement to "make" a bird fly away.
Does he feel he has a mission to move wildlife along whenever and where ever he sees it?
Making birds fly away isn't your job, asshole!
testing...testing.
ReplyDeleteHave gotten reports that comments haven't posted.
