Pool Time

This Sunday was the first day I found it warm enough to join the rest of the Cube family in the pool.

You'd think in these days of globalwarming May in Florida would've been hotter.

Go figure.

  1. Hooray. I envy you for having a pool.

Global warming my a$$ though. Have you read that there's currently very little activity on the sun? A few more years (two-three million years) and we're going to freeze to death. Ice Age all over again without that nutty squirrel.

  2. There goes my carbon footprint ;-)

I would love to do a solar water heater, but we have too many trees covering up the available sun. The city doesn't let us cut down certain trees on OUR property.

You're right about globalwarming. It's just a scam. I remember in the 70's we were on our way to an ice age. I guess what goes around comes around. The sun is going to do what it is going to do no matter what we puny humans wish.

  3. Synchronized swimming with marine animals in your own back yard!!! Man, I'm sorry I missed it. Next thing you know we'll be seeing you on MTV Cribs.

  4. I would have loved to see the dolphins as well! But seriously, in Singapore, it has also been really hot! so we have not been spared at all!

  5. No Disrespect but isn't it typically hot as hades in Singapore?

Sorry, I'm just another American with no passport! Thus I'm hopelessly less informed than anyone who has one (thanks Omar Sharife {I think he spells it that way}).

Cube, aren't those Beluga (belooooga? no passport remember?)whales in your giant pool?

  6. papa frank: lol! yeah, fist-pumping with my homies...

ed: Sorry to hear about your relentless heat. BTW those marine mammals are snub-nosed white Beluga whales.

QQ: You are correct, sir! Good eye. You win this round of "Name That Marine Mammal." ;-)

About your lack of passport, why in the world don't you travel more?

Would you believe our pool's heated nice and cozy and it's still a bit too cold outside here in LA to get in? FRUSTRATING!!!
