Don't blame the artist formerly known as Prince and currently known again as Prince and his "Purple Rain". Some idiot painted this poor pigeon purple...
I didn't mind when the folks at Pigeon Cam computer-generated a fez on a pigeon named Shirley, but I draw the line at painting them!
What kind of sicko would do that?
They painted the actual bird? Jeez, they could kill the poor creature!

ReplyDeleteAs a kid growing up in Manhattan, pigeons were pretty much the only birds I got to see on a daily basis. I know they're considered pesky by some, but I have a soft spot in my heart for them. But even if I hated the birds, that someone would paint one is just sickening to me.
