Barry Bankrupt

From Newsbusters comes an interview that Obama gave on January 17, 2008...

Hidden Audio: Obama Tells SF Chronicle He Will Bankrupt Coal Industry

If Obama is elected, I will not only blame the lazy malcontents who want free stuff from the government, but also the MSM because they did their utter best to hide the truth about BHO from the American public.

I hope and pray that there are more sane people than not.

  1. I am a W. Va. girl. One of my grand fathers was killed in a mine cave in, the other died of black lung from working in the mines his whole life. If W.Va. can't mine coal, they will have nothing with which to earn a living.

  2. It won't be just W.Va, BHO's programs will bankrupt the entire nation.

With a majority in the Senate & House, and a compliant press, he'll be unstoppable. He'll load the Federal courts with activist judges. Ditto with the Supreme Court. There will be no system of checks and balances.

  6. Keep hope alive, Cube.
It ain't over till it's over, and I'm hoping with all my might for a McPalin victory.
I've already cast my vote and done my part.
I hope everyone does theirs... only once, of course.
    :-)
Clean coal technology should be sought after with a vengeance. Demonizing coal is a serious mistake.
At this point in time and for some time to come...
Man cannot live by wind and sun alone. It's silly to think we can.
Oil isn't evil either. It's natural and earthy, and it's the reason we've made the giant leaps and advances we've made.
Sometimes, I think people have lost their ability to think logically.

  7. QQ: I hear you and I'm praying for our country.

conservative: Thank you. That's good to hear.

Jenn O'Jungle: Don't hold back. Tell me what you really think. lol.

  8. j.d.: Keeping hope alive? I'm trying. I'm really trying.

I helped my parents vote early, but we decided to vote on Tuesday. I like the experience of going to the polls. We always made a point of taking our girls when they were little so that they could share in the voting too.

BTW my eldest daughter will vote for her first time and she's excited about it.

Too bad my little one is too young to vote 'cause there would be one more McCain/Palin vote.

  9. I have faith, I don't know why, but I see the whole Obama facade unraveling at a quickening pace. I just hope it's not too late for people to see what a snake this guy really is. It ain't over till it's over. The fat lady is on the stage and clearing her voice.

  10. jay: I, too, have faith that there are more sane people in America than the besotted Obama voters.

  11. Maybe ol' McCain will pull one out Tuesday! We can only vote!

  12. edge: From your lips to God's ears.

Honestly, have you ever tried to argue facts & logic with an Obama voter? They are beyond reality.

I can only hope there will be more sane people than Obama voters come Tuesday.

  15. In San Francisco they are against coal because they like drilling so much. Just sayin'.

  16. LUCKYLADY: I would agree with you over the 'let's hope God is looking over us part' of your comment. I'm not sure we're on the same side of that prayer...

  20. Ah, who needs coal? Or an economy?

    roll eyes

  21. Obama will bankrupt all of us but the left will blame the economy all on the Republicans.

  22. The people are not electing a president. The MSM with guile and overwhelming influence and Obama, with money from questionable sources, enough alone spent to make every American a millionaire overnight, selected who the people will have for President. The Office of the presidency has been bought by influence peddlers and money.

This does not excuse the people, at least half of them, for their naivety, their desire to receive populist platitudes rather then truth, nor their disastrous lack of political inquisitiveness to investigate what is behind the image they have evidently bought into by selecting Obama. May they receive their just recompense in abundance. Unfortunately, they will have destroyed a nation before their eyes are opened.

  23. to think THIS many Americans could vote for such a liar, can willingly ignore the facts, can excuse this horrid man because he's THE ONE OF CHANGE, scares me even more (almost) than HE does.

funny..my word verification is COPERS. I'm trying!

  24. Bankrupting coal will bankrupt this nation.

I feel like I live in a mirror universe, that this man can have a serious shot at our presidency.

Pinch me. Modify the transporter, I wanna go home!

I'm voting McCain tomorrow. I hope a majority do, too.

If you don't mind my responding to Swine:

I guess there is no further need for you to lie about Obama being a socialist?
