At the risk of dating myself....I well remember when this story broke. The details came in bits and pieces, each one worse and more horrific than the previous one.
I thought the same thing. It's still incredible that this happened.
ReplyDeleteThere's a special significance to the KoolAid anniversary nowadays. (Actually, it was FlavorAid, but somehow the KoolAid brand stuck.)

ReplyDeleteWaco was the lesson that resisting arrest can create a dangerous situation, and the blame ultimately lies with those who resist arrest.
