anonymous: Thank you for sharing that. It's so typical of Forrey to be 92 years old and have a MySpace page. He was always on the forefront of everything. What a cool old dude.
Hey, Cube, a friend I had lunch with Sunday mentioned this guy's passing and how he had been to his 'museum/ house'...said he was a fantastically nice guy.
Cube, the link doesn't appear to be working
ReplyDeleteSorry about that. I rushed the post. It works now.
ReplyDeleteThe article is a brief glimpse into Forrey's fantastic life.
Oh wow. I've been reading some of his old monster magazines lately too!
ReplyDeletedmarks: Famous Monsters? I remember those.
ReplyDeleteI sure wish Forrey got around to writing down his autobiography. The man was a virtual walking encyclopedia of science fiction.
I wonder if his vast collection will be auctioned off or donated?
RIP Uncle 4E
ReplyDeleteIn case anyone is interested, this is Uncle Forrey's My Space Page
ReplyDeleteanonymous: Ditto. I'll certainly miss him.
