Shuttle Discovery

From our backyard:

Here's the image Mr. Cube took with his cell phone of the Shuttle Discovery taking off yesterday evening.

Sometimes it's nice to live in Florida.

  1. That's pretty cool. It looks sort of like a comet.

  2. Hats off to Mr. Cube's awesome picture.

Here's hoping they don't run into any space junk.

  7. citizen of the world: A very bright comet.

    sue: I'll tell him.

From your lips to God's ear on the space debris.

    woman: :-)

    dmarks: ;-)

Z: Orlando shots must be awesome by comparison. We're way over on the other side of the state.

Caz: I can only imagine how glorious it must be to actually be at the Cape and watch at the scene.

Ananda girl: We used to hear them break the sound barrier as they flew overhead. Then they changed the flight pattern and we don't hear the loung bang anymore.

    birdwoman: Yeah, we always watch.

Crazybunnylady: We think it's cool too. We're the family that's always out there trying to see meteor showers and other cool stuff too. The neighbors put up with us.
