OK, Pabst does have a prominent under-bite, but I think that hardly qualifies him to earn the title of Ugliest Dog.

I think all concerned wanted a more marketable ugly dog. Those Chinese Cresteds are pathetic and hard to look at.

ReplyDeleteAnanda Girl: Jan explained that the rules have been changed to allow only dogs who are healthy AND ugly. This makes much more sense because who wants to root for a sick AND ugly dog.

Back in our college days, we ran across a stray pregnant cat that had that kind of underbite and we thought it was very endearing. Unfortunately, she didn't survive the pregnancy because she was too young.
