Flies Home To A Hero's Welcome

Why do so many from the Middle East not play well with others in the rest of the world?

  2. Yep, I guess that makes Libya a cliff hanger... eww. I have a similar tattooed map, only it is of Middle Earth. Don't ask about the Hobbit hole.

My answer might surprise some of you. Don't shoot the messenger. I really want you all to think about what I am saying.

Preface: Let's face it. They don't even get along with themselves. I agree, a lot of them are savage beasts bent on killing people who don't follow their mindset.

    However ~

It's mainly because we exploited their lands for oil, while at the same time we've incensed some of them away from fundamental Islam. On the Holy Day (Friday) masses of Saudis flock to liberal-mindset Bahrain because it's one of the only spots in the Arab world where the bars are open. Who brought the bars to Bahrain to begin with? THe British. The Americans, and other nations as well.

That translates to Muslims straying away from their true religion - fundamental Islam. This is precisely why the fundamentalists are up in arms.

Meanwhile, of course, the ones who benefited from our exploitation and "raping" of Arab lands for oil got rich.

But if we didn't interfere with their death cult of a religion as much, then maybe things would've been different. MAYBE. And, let's face it, we really did interfere. Not us directly, per say, but that's the way of our system, which does in fact interfere not only with the Middle Eastern culture, but others as well. We exploit. We rape. We pillage, and all under the guise of providing religious missions where we spread Christianity in parts of the world where it is frowned upon to do so.

Unfortunately, logic and truth really hurts, but that's the way of the world.

  6. Well, well, well... Look where the asscrack of the world is...

Seriously, I am so outraged by the Lockarbie bomber getting released AND a hero's welcome I don't know what to say.

  8. I'm not sure I appreciate the photo of Hillary's backside.

But it is understandable that the Secretary of State would have such a tattoo.

  9. As for the Lockerbie bomber, there's much more of a twist to it than imagined. For one, I think the Labour Party (British government) are a sneaky bunch of bastards because they managed to lay the blame directly on the Scottish legal system when in fact they engineered a ruse with Libya on energy deals in the background. I blame Gordon Brown directly on this. His behavior as of late deserves removal from office.

As for the bomber himself, we all know he doesn't have much longer to live anyway, but the principle of removing him is wrong. I'd have kept him in, and Libya is wrong for celebrating and welcoming him back in.

  10. Ananda Girl: This is a very serious post.

DaBlade: lol! I won't ask. I already feel I got too much information ;-)

Chuck: lol! Right next to Icrack. Close to Istanbutthole. Gosh, we could keep this up all day.

Lee: It is certainly one common thread that weaves its way throughout the region.

  11. Steve Harkonnen: The US pays for the oil and the ME wasn't under any coercion to sell it except for their desire for wealth.

As far as the West introducing bars and such to the 'poor' innocents of the ME, they couldn't very well keep the modern world from coming into contact with theirs. I mean, you can only keep up the illusion of living in the Dark Ages for so long before your people start to wonder about how the rest of the world lives.

If they were serious about fundamentalism, they should look up the Amish who manage just fine and don't hurt others in the process. The Amish also don't make excuses for their personal failings.

Brooke: The Brits are refining moslem appeasement to an art form.

    The Phoenix: lol.

dmarks: I think Hillary wishes her butt looked this good. Hmmm, if only Jupiter had craters and a cottage-cheese consistency like the moon...

  12. All I can say is that I am very pleased to see it (the picture) is not covered with...um...er...forest. Yea, I am pleased the picture shows no forests. That's it.

Oh, and in my opinion, and opinions are like the featured picture, we all have one, a death cult ought to, should be, deserves to be, messed with, in whatever means needed to end it, and forever consign it to the dark ages, the dust and rubbish heaps, of history and the pit from which it seems to have emerged.

We all pay for the oil, true, but once that oil was discovered, that's what brought us more problems.
