Cat Blog Friday

For this Cat Blog Friday...

... a bejeweled cat. What economic downturn? What recession?

Michelle Obama's $42,000 Diamond Cuffs

Happy Friday... in spite of it all.

  1. Let me get this straight, people are losing their homes, struggling to get food on their tables, gas in their cars, etc.

And this low-life sported over $42,000 in diamonds on her wrist??? What the bloody hell?!!

I am sure there are plenty of other designers that could have provided her with suitable jewelry that didn't cost an arm and a leg to wear.

It's all about showing off and exposing their true greedy nature.

As for that revolting kiss, really? Could they be less fake? Come on! I have seen more affection on a cat ready to pounce on a mouse.

  2. They don't care about us and they don't care about the Obama voters. All they care about is votes. This is what has to be made clear to the Obama voters. Easier said than done.

  3. Leticia: I also noticed the lack of a love kiss... maybe if Reggie Love had been present, it would've been a different photo op. I'm just saying....

  6. Sue Hanes: You know that I don't necessarily agree with your politics, but I value your comments nonetheless.

    Welcome aboard.

  7. WomanHonorThyself: Insensitive
is also a word that can be applied to this inappropriate situation when so many of their supporters are having trouble keeping up their roadrunner cable, their top of the line cell phone, the weekly pay-per-view specials, the expensive sporty shoes & clothes, the gold tooth implants, the nice car that belongs to your baby mama...

  8. I keep thinking that some adult with common sense will step up and explain about flaunting and why not to do it if your paycheck comes from the public.

  9. But you people are not paying attention, they say they understand what people are going through.

  10. Great, so she creates a JOB for the jewelry designer and tells the rest of the country to EAT CAKE because we can't afford $42,000 worth of diamonds?
What kind of message is THAT??

  11. My cats refuse to wear any jewelry.

However, years ago I did have two cats who would strut around if I put a necklace on them.

As for MO, well, she is America's Marie Antoinette. Actively promoting class warfare? I think so. Certainly, she is the epitome of "It's OUR turn now!"

  12. I notice that MO is getting thinner -- above the waist, that is. Look at her arms and her jaw line. Is she, ahem, using something that makes her lose weight? Frankly, such use on her part wouldn't surprise me in the least.

  13. Cube - Your cat blog Friday picture is so nice.

The cat looks proud and dignified.

But it would look proud and dignified even without the jewelry.

If cat could talk I bet this one would say, 'Sue doesn't wear any jewelry and I don't need to either. Jewelry is for First Ladies and movie stars. Not for cats and mad bloggers.

    Meow.

  14. I wonder if she had the Secret Service shut down several blocks in Manhattan to go to an exclusive jeweler's to buy it.

  15. I've said it before and I'll say it again:

    LET THEM EAT CAKE.

  16. Oh dear. I was sure I posted here on last Friday. But maybe blogger burped me out.
All of their hoopla astounds me. Another example of MO's poor taste in fashion and social decorum.
    The kiss... icky!
