Jan, how do you stop an adult from doing what they want to do? I can imagine his parents and friends feeling badly, but they couldn't have prevented someone hell bent on doing whatever they wanted to do.

It's hard to imagine the guilt of their friends and family that they allowed it to happen.

Sue Hanes: It is sad. Some events are predestined. We teach our kids good behavior, but they end up doing what they want in the end.
