Dead Mug

My husband broke my favorite mug... one that we drove 6,288 miles up Mount Washington to purchase (I'd show you a picture, but I'm having trouble accessing pictures from my camera)

Mount Washington Drive Yourself Auto Road

I cwent online and then called them up to order a replacement and, because of the awful weather, their shop isn't going to be open until end of May.

:-(

My husband should be in the doghouse, shouldn't he?

  1. Cube - I vote that your husband should be in the doghouse. :]

After checking out the link I can tell you that I would not be driving up Mount Washington - too scary for me.

  2. Did he break it on purpose? If he didn't then no doghouse. Or you could break something of his to be even. I'm just saying.

    Have a fabulous day. :)

  3. Sue Hanes: He's not really in the doghouse. It was an accident. Turns out, he loved that mug too.

I'm sure as heck not going up that mountain again EVER so I will have to wait until everything thaws up there and I can order online.

  5. It's moments like these when you realize what is truly important. I also have a special coffee mug and I can't imagine losing it this way. You may have only had a short time together, like a shooting star bursting with a joyful caffeinated effervescence, but would you trade it for all the tea in China?

A small tear ran down my cheek when I read this. Please know that coffee must go on.

  6. DaBlade: Wipe that tear and have no fear... the coffee will go on.

Only the handle is broken so there's always Superglue. Or I can use an oven mitt to drink my coffee ;-)
