Mystery Flight

It Had GPS, An Indestructible Black Box And A Beacon Designed To Float To The Surface: So How On Earth Can A Boeing 777 Just Vanish Over The Sea?

Unless we're willing to go into the Twilight Zone, we're either left with a catastrophic event which left very little trace evidence of the plane, or it was forced down someplace.

What a horrible situation for all involved.

  1. I feel so sorry for all those friends and family members having to wait so long before having closure.

I have formulated a hypothesis (not enough evidence yet to call my thoughts "a theory"). I think that a bomb in exploded. If there was such a bomb, it could have been installed while the airliner was in the hangar for 12 days -- a Salafist mole or other kind of terrorist as maintenance person, perhaps. The radio silence of 1hr10min can be explained as time needed to finalize the explosion of the bomb (timer installed and activated, for example). I think that it's highly unlikely that this particular airliner disintegrated at 35,000 feet due to structural issues. I also highly doubt that North Korea shot the airliner out of the sky -- no trace of any such thing, but I've heard the idea posited.

  2. Cube - It is a very strange situation. How could a plane disappear like that with no trace of it. I can't help thinking of the Twilight Zone.

  3. I hope there is an answer very soon. How horrible for all those family/friends waiting to hear something. Anything.

    Have a terrific day. :)

  4. In an earlier time we would have heard rumors that they were abducted by space aliens. I haven't heard that so far.

  5. Always On Lock: Your theory could be just as correct as any I've heard. This morning they've found a debris field. God only knows what happened to that plane.

  6. Sue Hanes: There has to be a trace. It's just a question of finding it.
