My husband broke my favorite mug... one that we drove 6,288 miles up Mount Washington to purchase (I'd show you a picture, but I'm having trouble accessing pictures from my camera)
Mount Washington Drive Yourself Auto Road
I cwent online and then called them up to order a replacement and, because of the awful weather, their shop isn't going to be open until end of May.
:-(
My husband should be in the doghouse, shouldn't he?
Cube - I vote that your husband should be in the doghouse. :]
ReplyDeleteAfter checking out the link I can tell you that I would not be driving up Mount Washington - too scary for me.
Did he break it on purpose? If he didn't then no doghouse. Or you could break something of his to be even. I'm just saying.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day. :)
Sue Hanes: He's not really in the doghouse. It was an accident. Turns out, he loved that mug too.
ReplyDeleteSandee: He's not in the doghouse. It was an accident. He loved that mug too and often grabbed it if I didn't grab it first.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure as heck not going up that mountain again EVER so I will have to wait until everything thaws up there and I can order online.
It's moments like these when you realize what is truly important. I also have a special coffee mug and I can't imagine losing it this way. You may have only had a short time together, like a shooting star bursting with a joyful caffeinated effervescence, but would you trade it for all the tea in China?
ReplyDeleteA small tear ran down my cheek when I read this. Please know that coffee must go on.
DaBlade: Wipe that tear and have no fear... the coffee will go on.
ReplyDeleteOnly the handle is broken so there's always Superglue. Or I can use an oven mitt to drink my coffee ;-)
