News about the crash of Airbus A320 is filling my mind today and the more I hear about it, the more surreal it becomes.

  1. We'll learn more and more as time passes. What a senseless act of cowardly behavior. If you want to kill yourself fine, but innocent people? Not fine at all.

    Have a terrific day. ☺

  2. I'm actually surprised that it hasn't happened more often that suicidal nuts have wanted to have company, So tragic, so many lives.

  4. Jan: Very tragic. I think it may have happened more than we know... Egypt Air 990 was deliberately brought down, was it terrorism or suicide?

  5. Cube - I'm with you on this one. It is hard to imagine that the co-pilot crashed the plane deliberately. He must have been out of his mind.

  6. You just can't trust those co-pilots.

  7. Sue Hanes: Everything that we know so far is very speculative, but it did appear as though he wasn't deemed flight-worthy by his doctor.

He was an avid pilot since his teens and perhaps he was seeing his dream of being a big airline pilot crushed and that brought him over the edge.

    Time will tell more.

  8. Woodsterman (Odie): I don't know about that... Egypt Air 990 was brought down by its pilot. I think that was deemed a suicide by pilot, but I'd call it multiple homicides by pilot.
