Woodsterman (Odie): I don't know about that... Egypt Air 990 was brought down by its pilot. I think that was deemed a suicide by pilot, but I'd call it multiple homicides by pilot.

I'm actually surprised that it hasn't happened more often that suicidal nuts have wanted to have company, So tragic, so many lives.

ReplyDeleteCube - I'm with you on this one. It is hard to imagine that the co-pilot crashed the plane deliberately. He must have been out of his mind.

ReplyDeleteSue Hanes: Everything that we know so far is very speculative, but it did appear as though he wasn't deemed flight-worthy by his doctor.
ReplyDeleteHe was an avid pilot since his teens and perhaps he was seeing his dream of being a big airline pilot crushed and that brought him over the edge.
Time will tell more.
