The celebrations here on the lake started last weekend and by now my dogs are accustomed to the fireworks. My son and his dog Clancy will be here this weekend to celebrate with me. All will be quiet on the actual Independence Day on Tuesday. God Bless The USA!
Granny Annie: We don't have a lake, but we do have a pool. Our youngest is coming down to spend the weekend with us. It's all good. I'm in happy mom mode.
Sandee: We have the flag out everyday and she's got a light on her so even at night she shines her beautiful self. It doesn't matter to me what day of the year it is, my flag is always waving.
Kid: Thankfully I don't have any moslems nearby to offend but the idea of grilling pork products is good any time. My husband is a grill master and he is going to have at it this weekend. Both of our babies are home and it's looking to be a good time for our house.
Messymimi: They don't bother me per se, but I just see them as a stupid thing to do. How can you spend more than half a minute with the things before losing interest?
