Here We Go Again

Hurricane Dorian Could Be Worst Storm To Hit Central Florida In Three Decades If Current Track Holds, Meteorologist Says

I'm a veteran of many hurricanes so I know that you can never prepare enough for their arrival because they can surprise even the best meteorologists.

Prepared or not, it's always scary to know that one is bearing down on you.

At least we don't have the huge dying 70 foot oak tree looming over our house anymore. [Yes, that is my finger top left. I have much to learn about cell phone camera action 😁]

For now we're watching and waiting and the rest is up to God.

  3. Nice fingertip Cube. Is that pool surround for bugs or to keep the water from overheating. We had coolers in pools in AZ.

Well, hopefully, this is just more drama from the drama queens on TV and it won't be too bad for you.

Thinking of putting flower planters on that tree stump?

  4. Kid: I could've taken free Kardashian selfie lessons, but I turned them down. 😉

The pool enclosure has nothing to do with temperature. It's there to keep out bugs & tree pollen mostly. We don't see too many gators 😉

The tree company is chewing out the stump as I write this so we're no sure how we'll proceed, but a ton of flowers is one very viable alternative.

  6. Kid: It's Florida. There are tons of bugs everywhere. Lol. That was a really safe bet.

  7. Praying for all of us. Even if we are not directly in the path of this storm, 'tis the season. May it drift back out and break up in the North Atlantic.

  8. Messymiimi: Just like you, I'm praying for all of us in Dorian's path because only God knows Dorian's path.

  10. Hang in there, and remember that Trump made the hurricane. That's what they said on CNN.

  12. LL: We're hardcore Floridians so we're definitely hanging in. It may not be pretty, but we'll see what happens.
