I got up at 5:30 this morning made it to the polls at 6:05, made it out of there around 6:45.
When I got to work I realized I left my building keys at home so I sat in the cold and waited for my wife to arrive with them ...haha..
I saw an old friend who I know is Liberal there, I tried to convince him that we both leave since we just cancel each other out instead of waiting in line.. of course I was going to come back after he left but he did not fall for it.
I always vote absentee, but I don't want to miss the excitement of vote day so I take my ballot into the polling place. Plenty of time to think about how I vote and no lines. I don't know why everyone doesn't do this.
You Betcha! Lots of dead and wounded so I can get off my butt and stand in line for a few minutes to have my say in the affairs of kings. Pretty awesome even if the commies do manage to steal it!
It isn't like we didn't try to stop them.
Anyway, we have for years to work within the system if we win or outside it if we lose.
Something has to be done about the increasing demand for a new "right" to be a compensated loafer. Rich or poor, scholar or dunce, the work ethic must be re-established or we are cooked.
I want to see a picture of a happy voter from Chicago plastered with these stickers.

As a general idea, I do not oppose government welfare to the needy (poor, disabled, etc). But I do definitely draw the line at Sen. Obama's aggressive expansion of the welfare idea to entail expanding to include the middle class, also. The SCHIP program (which is free goverment health insurane for rich adults) was a big step in this direction.
I didn't get up early enough to get through the enormous line at my polling place before work, so I have to do it tonight when I get home.

It is what it is, folks. I'm taking the philosophical stance that I survived a Carter administration and two Clinton ones, and I'll survive this.
