There's a similar one going around where a man says he believes women should have no rights and gays should be killed. The woman he's talking to accuses him of being a Republican, and he answers that he's actually a Muslim, that's his religion. She apologizes and says, "I hope you don't think I'm Islamophobic."
Progressives are consistent in their inconsistencies.
