I'm just psyched that the new Omen is opening today. Not that I can go see it today, but how cool is that? (It will, no doubt, stink, but that's what horror film remakes do.)
When I was in college, I had a friend who called that movie "Apopaclypse Now." So, to this day, whenever we have the chance to use the word apocalypse (which is more often than you'd think) we say apopaclypse.
Say it! Apopaclypse! Apopaclyptic! I can't get enough.
Jen mentioned The Omen. The kid in the previews has got that demonic stare thing down pat.
Thanks for your comment at my blog today. Voices of reason need to be hear loudly and clearly. If you have time, I hope you will stop back by and add some more into the conversation.
Hey cube it's 5.00am on the 7th June here in Western Australia. Looks like we made it through unscathed down under.I think wearing the tin hats helped!!

I read in the paper that fear of 6-6-6 is a real phobia and I hope my post don't offend any hexakosioihexekontahexaphobics out there.
I can't see the picture. Is it me?

From the previews, it looks like they kept the remake very, very close to the original. And that's a good thing; it's one of my favorites.
Happy Omen Day!

david: I loved the original Omen, don't know what to make of the remake until I watch it. I see the 666 curse duplicated your comment. Oh no!
woman: Aaaack! Not the 666 curse!
kathy: LOL! Tinfoil hat or not, I'm glad you survived!
michelle: You're covering all your bases. Clever girl.
666 or not, I'm still here.
always on watch: Good. I'm glad you made it too ;-)
I have a fear of those that fear 666.
HEHEHE! My cat can't wait to see it!
the greek for "666" is
chi xi stigma which looks like "X E (backward) S (backward)" and if held in a mirror looks like "SEX" - go figure.
just a little nanctrivia.
