A Bust
This was the best pic I was able to take of the Blood Supermoon eclipse. Talk about a lot of hype and little to show for it.
No super, no bloody-red, no eclipse. I barely got the moon part. Cloud cover did me in.
Oh well, God willing I'll be around to catch the next one in 2033. I'm nothing if not persistent.
UPDATE: This is what the Blood Supermoon eclipse should've looked like:

Blood Supermoon And Eclipse
For the first time in more than 30 years, you can witness a blood supermoon in combination with a lunar eclipse. This will be the first supermoon eclipse in 33 years and next such event will occur only in 2033.
You can get more information here:
Total Lunar Eclipse To Coincide With Full Blood Supermoon This Weekend
and here:
Rare Blood SuperMoon Eclipse
After sunset Sunday night. Since 1900, this has only happened five times: 1910, 1928, 1946, 1964 and 1982.
It should be spectacular.

A Moslem Family Affair
Clockmed's sister fesses up...
Ahmed's Sister Admits School Suspension For Alleged Bomb Threat 3 Years Earlier
Hmmmm, let me see, sharia activist father, little brother who brings a "clock" that just happens to look like a bomb and sound like a bomb, and now, big sister who admits she was suspended from school for an bomb threat three years ago. Of course, big sis insists she was unfairly accused by the "stupid same district", but her parents refuse to allow the details of the suspension to be released to the public.
They'd have us believe they're just a poor, persecuted family.
They really do think we're stupid and if we continue to believe that moslems aren't a threat and just want to live peacefully among us, they're right.
Wake up America.
Tell Tale Horns?

And it's the same from different angles.
And it's not the first time it's happened either.
Cue the "Twilight Zone" theme.

Doomsday Asteroid?
Oh, by the way...
'Doomsday Asteroid' Will Zoom Past Earth Tomorrow, NASA Reveals In 'Threat' Alert
NASA has spent the past few months debunking claims that a "doomsday space rock" will wipe out humanity this month.
Now it has confirmed the 270-metre Asteroid 2012 TT5 will speed past the planet tomorrow, but don't worry, NASA says we'll live.
See you all tomorrow... maybe. ;)
Dope Pope?
Is Obama's Guest List For Pope Dinner An Intentional Insult?
Would the press give Pope Francis so much coverage if he hadn't visited Castro, been pro-economic equality and climate change? I doubt it.
Love him or hate him, I am sick of all this media hype.
Enough already.

Psycho 2.0
I love you Jamie, but what took you so long?
Jamie Lee Curtis Recreates Her Mother's Famous 'Psycho' Shower Scene
I'm loving this whole Scream Queen thing.
I'm a big horror movie fan. The first horror movie I ever saw was Bela Lugosi in "Dracula", and the second one was "Psycho". And yes, I have had a fear of psycho killers at shower time and also husbands with Instamatic cameras ever since. And vampires, but not recently since they've become so cuddly in recent times.
I do lock the bathroom door for a reason.

Some kitty has been on the keyboard in my absence.

Monday Laugh
I'm still stewing about Sunday's pitiful performance by MY Tampa Bay Bucs against the Tennessee Titans...
In case you didn't know this fun football fact, Marcus Mariotta, the Titans quarterback that we could've picked for MY team, was the first rookie quarterback to throw four, count 'em, four touchdowns in a game since Fran Tarkenton did it in 1961 and he did it against MY team.
I need a laugh right about now... hence the post.

Loose Cobra
An eight foot long King Cobra escaped from its enclosure near the 4800 block of North Apopka Vineland Road in Orlando.
It probably won't be easy to find the snake because the area is very densely wooded.

The Clintons’ Plan To Counterattack Obama: The President Holds The Cards And They Are Damning
Chicago is famous for its smash mouth tactics, but the Clintons are a formidable couple.
Battle of the Titans.
My bet is they're both bloodied by the fight, but at the end both are still standing and the country is left all the worse for wear.

The Humpty Dumpty Zeitgeist
From The American Spectator comes this timely article filled with examples of Alice:
WELCOME TO THE UNITED STATES OF ALICE: Stripping Language Of Objective Meaning Is Dragging Us Down The Rabbit Hole.
The author, Patrick J. McCloskey writes, "Once the meaning of words becomes arbitrary and subject to elitist control, any manipulation in society becomes possible."
So true.
Words matter... a lot.
