Clinton, Obama Seize on Killing
Hillary's claim to have had a 12 year "relationship" with the recently assassinated Pakistani opposition leader Benazir Bhutto was revealed to be another Clintonian misrepresentation of the facts.
I never met Bhutto, yet I knew she had 3 children, and not 2, like Hill said in her Iowa firehouse speech. Wouldn't you know if your "friend" went on to have another child?
Please, Hill and Chelsea met then Prime Minister Bhutto and her children for an official luncheon and a chat afterwards. Trying to pretend you were close for your own political advantage is ghoulish.

Candid Moment
From Sweetness & Light:
More Candid Moments From The Clintons
Hillary Clinton (D-NY) and Bill Clinton attend church service at Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church in Waterloo, Iowa, December 23, 2007
The loving couple before they knew the camera was watching...
and after...
Don't you wish they'd just go away?

Micro Reactor
Toshiba Builds 100x Smaller Micro Nuclear Reactor
At 20 feet by 6 feet in size, and powered by reservoirs of liquid lithium-6 (an isotope that is effective at absorbing neutrons), it would produce electricity at about half the cost of grid energy.
Cool.

Cubology
There's more in the above picture than you'd think. Depending on how you look, you can see : a room with a box in it, a cube with a smaller cube cut out, or a big cube with a smaller cube in front of it.
Then there's the Necker cube:
Is the green side on the front of the cube or at the back ? Keep looking at the cube and you'll find that it switches a few times. First described by Professor L. Necker, hence the name.
Cool cubes.

Clintonista Rags
Edwards Love Child Scandal News Hot Off The Web
Don't know if this story is true, but I do know that The National Enquirer is partly owned by Roger Altman, an official in Bill Clinton's administration, and a big supporter of Hillary's campaign.
Also, Ron Burkle (another Clinton buddy) is negotiating with David Pecker, CEO of American Media Inc., over acquiring AMI. Think "Shape", "Star", "The National Enquirer" and "Men's Fitness" in the hands of the Clintons.
Makes you wonder, doesn't it?

Dear Diary
From The New Yorker comes this piece dealing with the fascination people have with diaries. Why do we write them and why do we read them?

Way To Go, Bill!
"They're standing on the corner and they can't speak English. I can't even talk the way these people talk:
Why you ain't,
Where you is,
What he drive,
Where he stay,
Where he work,
Who you be...
And I blamed the kid until I heard the mother talk.
And then I heard the father talk.
Everybody knows it's important to speak English
except these knuckleheads. You can't be a doctor
with that kind of crap coming out of your mouth.
In fact you will never get any kind of job making a decent living. People marched and were hit in the face with rocks to get an education, and now we've got these knuckleheads walking around.
The lower economic people are not holding up their end in this deal.
These people are not parenting. They are buying things for kids. $500 sneakers for what ? ?
And they won't spend $200 for Hooked on Phonics.
I am talking about these people who cry w hen their son is standing there in an orange suit.
Where were you when he was 2 ? ?
Where were you when he was 12 ? ?
Where were you when he was 18 and how come you didn't know that he had a pistol ? ?
< /SPAN>And where is the father ? ? Or who is his father ?
People putting their clothes on backward:
Isn't that a sign of something gone wrong?
People with their hats on backward, pants down around the crack, isn't that a sign of something ?
Or are you waiting for Jesus to pull his pants up ?
Isn't it a sign of something when she has her dress all the way up and got all type of needles [piercing] going through her body?
What part of Africa did this come from??
We are not Africans. Those people are not Africans; they don't know a thing about Africa .
With names like Shaniqua, Taliqua and Mohammed and all of that crap, and all of them are in jail.
Brown or black versus the Board of Education is no longer the white person's problem.
We have got to take the neighborhood back.
People used to be ashamed. Today a woman has eight children with eight different 'husbands' -- or men or whatever you call them now.
We have millionaire football players who cannot read.
We have million-dollar basketball players who can't write two paragraphs. We, as black folks have to do a better job. Someone working at Wal-Mart with seven kids, you are hurting us.
We have to start holding each other to a higher standard.
We cannot blame the white people any longer."
WAY TO GO, BILL !!
It's NOT about color...
It's about behavior!!!
PASS THIS ON AMERICA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congressional Scrooges
Rep. Steve King Upset That Group Of Democrats Opposed Christmas Resolution
This was a Resolution recognizing the importance of Christmas and the Christian faith.
The measure passed by a 372-9 vote, with 10 recording a neutral "present" vote and 40members not voting.
Click here to see The Roll Call Of Votes
I also would like to know how they could vote 'yes' on Islam, 'yes' on the Indian religions and 'no' on Christianity.
I find this to be a shameful display of political gutlessness.
Vote those suckers out of office. They don't deserve to be in Congress.

Who knew?
American Girl Dolls Made In China
I always thought these dolls were so overpriced because they were made in the USA.
Sheesh.
Wise Words
Pope Benedict XVI is warning the international community to base its ecological policies on science rather than the dubious dogma of the environmentalist movement.
The Pope Condemns The Climate Change Prophets
Hallelujah.
The reasonable voices are gathering strength and the climate change scammers will be exposed as frauds.

Dreamin'
Watch out, Hillary.
Watch out, Obama and Oprah (or Oprama, if you want to save space).
Cynthia McKinney, the former six-term Democrat Congresswoman from Georgia, who was ousted in 2006, has declared her candidacy in the Green Party for 2008 because, as she puts it, "No other platform speaks to the African American community as acutely as the Green Party platform.”

My words of advice to Cynthia...

It happened in October, and I can only wonder why this news wasn't picked up sooner...
Monument To Che Guevara Destroyed By Venezuelans
I only wish I could've seen Chavez' reaction to this second "shooting" of Che.
Heh heh.

WTF?
I'm still shaking my head over this...
NIE: An Abrupt About-Face .
After what I've been reading about the latest NIE report, I'm wondering how do we fight the enemies in the world at large if we can't even fight the enemies that are living right here in our own country?

Pork Theft
Australian thieves stole 16 tons of ham and bacon from a Sydney warehouse and then wrote "Thanks, Merry Christmas" on a wall, police said on Monday.
Merry Christmas, We're Stealing Your Pork!
What in the world are they going to do with all that ham and bacon? Is there a market for stolen pork products?
