Cartoon physics does work!

Tragedy was averted in the aftermath of an unfortunate steamroller accident when the two victims were picked up and shook until they returned to normal.

Double rainbow over Baghdad

The news of the re-election of George W. Bush spread quickly through Iraq.

In contrast, several thousand Iraqis burned U.S. flags and Bush effigies marking the 25th anniversary of the storming of the U.S. embassy in Tehran & the taking of 52 hostages for 444 days...the legacy of Jimmy Carter.

It's unfortunate that the American voters didn't make Carter follow in the tradition of Stevenson, McGovern, Mondale, & Kerry.

A Study In Contrasts

Laura and Tuh-Ray-Zuh watch election results.

In happier moments...

Memories...of the way we were...before the wheels came off...

How long before the cries of 'Blame Edwards' begin?

How would you know they worked?

Glasses for dogs? Doggles.
Glasses for cats? Coggles or caggles?

The country is divided on this issue.

The fat lady sings...finally.

Just after 11 AM EST, John Kerry called President Bush & graciously said, "Congratulations, Mr. President."

The ordeal is over.

Pre-election exit polls dead wrong

Looking at yesterday afternoon's early exit poll results gave me a swift-kick-in-the-solar-plexus kind of feeling. You know, a bunch of Maalox moments strung together into an acid reflux chain.

The exit polls showed Kerry was up...up...& up in absurdly high numbers, but as the evening wore on, the artifice fell apart, and Bush's numbers soared. What happened?

A little google searching revealed that the new consortium responsible for the 2004 election exit polling system is called the National Elections Pool (NEP). The NEP is run by Warren Mitofsky, of Mitofsky International, & Joseph Lenski, of Edison Media Research.

This is the same Warren Mitofsky who was executive director of the CBS News election & survey unit, & was an executive producer of its election night broadcasts. In fact, he developed the projection & analysis system used by CBS and VNS, and he started the CBS News/New York Times Poll in 1975 & directed it for CBS for 15 years.

Warren Mitofsky was also the founder of the forerunner of Voter News Service (VNS), the consortium that was disbanded following two major failures in 2 years, including the 2000 election.

VNS + NEP + CBS + NY Times = biased exit polls.

You do the math.

Osama hates you & your momma

Vote against terrorists.

Vote BUSH

Forget Waldo, where's Tuh-Ray-Zuh?

Mozambique Momma T. has been keeping a low profile since her latest faux pas. She's harder to find than Waldo...who's right here on The BLOG

Remember 9/11/01

Following 9/11/01, I heard many Gore voters express their relief that George W. Bush was our president on that fateful day.

President Bush stood atop the rubble and said through a bullhorn, "I can hear you; the rest of the world hears you, and the people who knocked these buildings down will hear from all of us very soon."

They heard us loud & clear, but the global war on terror isn't over. There is more to be done. Ask yourself, who do you want in charge?

Remember that when you cast your vote today.

Vote BUSH.

Defiant American cloud's reply to UBL & Kerry

Brought to you by the Association of Accretion of Water Vapor Molecules for BUSH.

The bawk bawk vote

UBL tape warns voters not to vote for Bush or there will be terror.

UBL tape counsels voters to vote for Kerry if they want a truce with terrorists.

UBL knows which side wants to appease the terrorists.

Winston Churchill once said, "An appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile, hoping it will eat him last."

Crocodiles love Democrats; they taste like chicken.

Don't let UBL force you to vote for fear.

Vote for strength. Vote for leadership. Vote BUSH.

Virtual retinal display technology (VRD), originally developed at the University of Washington's Human Interface Technology Lab, now goes mobile with a head-mounted portable unit.

Legends Field Rally

15,000 Bush supporters waited hours in the hot Florida sun, but spirits remained high throughout the event.

The cheering was loud & frequent & lengthy. Good manners and a feeling of well-being abounded.

But, best of all, it was great to see the President.

A special treat, indeed.

Real scariness this Halloween

al Qaeda doesn't warn...it attacks. It threatens only when it can't attack.

The latest UBL tape is a warning for America to stop the global war on terror or else face the wrath of Islamo-facists everywhere.

Well, lets see...Kerry has been against involvement in every conflict that our country has faced in the last 20 years. Kerry has voted against every weapon system that came his way. The Kerry record is one of a liberal pacifist internationalist.

Doesn't that sound like a Kerry endorsement from UBL?

A Kerry presidency is the scariest thing I can think of for America now.

Don't let UBL influence YOUR vote.

Vote to keep America strong.

Vote BUSH.

The Amazing Colossal Kerry

A high dose of radiation has caused John Kerry's body to grow to immense proportions
and it now matches his already overly-large head. Shown here, Kerry threatens to destroy our cities if we don't vote for him.

Oh, the humanity. Run for your lives, America!

Vote BUSH.

Dees are mine, John. Get your own!

Weekend at Yasser's

Palestinian leader, Yasser Arafat, unwilling to relinquish power, agrees to continue leading the Palestinians after his death. His cadaver will be preserved through a process called Plastination and will be carried around by acolytes.

W is for ... Curt Schilling

World Series champs, Red Sox pitcher & Cy Young winner, Curt Schilling, tells everybody to vote...for BUSH.

W is for WINNER!

Frank Burns Redux

In case you missed the NBC Nightly News, 10/28/04

Brokaw: Someone has analyzed the President’s military aptitude tests and yours,
and concluded that he has a higher IQ than you do.
Kerry: That’s great. More power. I don’t know how they’ve done it, because my record
is not public. So I don’t know where you’re getting that from.

Stop the presses! Kerry finally tells the truth & admits he has not released his military records, after claiming all along he had released them & they were on his website. Finally, a bit of truth.

Now ask yourself, why hasn't Kerry released his military records?

Remember Frank Burns from M*A*S*H?

Can you say 'redux'?

Cats suffer stress, experts say

According to a recent study at Edinburgh University's school of veterinary studies,
cats can suffer from stress-related illness like humans.

"My cat, Schlomo, is very jumpy. Oy, such stress. Now, he has a heart moimah! I don't need a fancy-schmancy university study to tell me about cat stress!" says owner, Sol Bernstein. He adds, "On my salary as a mohel (one who performs a circumcision rite called a bris) a heart transplant for Schlomo is out of the question."

Lessons from the mistakes of Madrid

Five days away from the election, and with the leaking of a new terror tape vowing "streets full of blood in America", we need to remember the mistakes made by Spain after the Madrid bombings.

The populace, hoping to be spared more bloodshed, voted to appease the terrorists by voting for the socialist candidate who promised to pull out their troops in Iraq.
This wrong-headed nonsense brought them the contempt and ridicule of the free world, but didn't spare them the ire of the terrorists. A recent group of arrests revealed a plot to bomb the Spanish National Court that was investigating Islamic terrorist crimes.

Negotiation with and appeasement of terrorists will not work.
Negotiation with and appeasement of terrorists will only make you more vulnerable.

Now is not the time to elect a man who has been on the wrong side of every conflict this country has seen from Vietnam, the Gulf War,the Balkans, Afghanistan, and Iraq, and on the wrong side of every weapon system that would keep us safe.

Now is not the time to elect a man who will subvert the interests of America to those of greedy diplomats in the United Nations.

The war on terror is upon us. We must remain strong. We must remain resolute. Our very lives depend on it.

Vote for strong, steady leadership.

Bush.

Kerry takes another dump on the US Military

John Kerry began his political career by lying about his country and the military. He betrayed the men he served with in Vietnam and used them for craven political advantage. He allied himself with foreign forces that wanted to see America fail.

By accusing our troops in Iraq of negligence and incompetence based upon false reports, John Kerry's political career will end with his lying about his country and the military, by his betrayal of those who put their lives on the line in the war on terror, using them for crass political advantage, and allying himself with foreign forces that want to see America fail.

And so the circle closes upon itself.
The snake catches its own tail.
The symmetry is superb.

Vote for Bush.
He won't betray the USA.

Get to the polls & vote Republican

Election frenzy has gripped the nation.

An enterprising cuban tree frog to cast ballot...perhaps this explains why
four counties in Ohio have more voters registered than they have people in the 18 and over population. And Ohio is not alone.

Voter fraud is no joke. Keep it honest and fair.

Kerry threatens Bush voters with a booger

I have a booger and I know how to use it!

Ain't no pocket deep enough

Sandy Burger, former Clinton administration National Security Advisor, and former Kerry advisor, firmly denies any complicity in the theft of 380 tons of HMX and RDX explosives missing from the al Qaqaa Military Installation in Iraq.

Stuffing documents into your pants and socks is one thing. You'd have to be at least as big as Teddy Kennedy to have the room to stuff 380 tons of explosives into your clothes. Comon.

In space no one can hear you lie

Kerry and his overly-large head shown above taking credit for tonight's total eclipse of the moon. Mr. Kerry vows to make the moon glow the same color as his recent pumpkin hued man-tan.

[The BLOG note for the satirically impaired: the eclipse (totality) will be
visible on the east coast at ~10:23 PM & will have nothing whatsoever to do with
Kerry's long list of contradictory or physically impossible campaign promises]
