Stuck On Shark
This is what can happen if you provoke a nurse shark:
Provoked, Nurse Shark Bites Florida Woman And Won't Let Go
I caught a baby shark some years ago and was carefully taking it off the hook when my daughter asked to hold it. I handed it to her and it squirmed. I reached out to keep it from falling out of her hands when it flipped over and bit my finger. Luckily it didn't latch on and I was able to set it back into the water.
I guess I provoked it.

Cubular Overkill

You know I love cubular news, but ...
China: Man Dclares Love With 840 Rubik's Cubes ... But She Says No
I feel for this man's romantic intensity, but sometimes in romance, too much is too much.
I'm no marital maven here, I've only been married for 33 years, but I'd like to ask him if he ever just talked with this woman or did asking for dinner and a movie occur to him?
I'm just saying.
Sheesh.

Double Down On Dumb

University Students Are Struggling To Read Entire Books
During a brief foray between my science classes and into taking a few business classes, I ran across a student who on her first day of hearing she had to learn about graphs in our Intro To Microeconomics class went into a meltdown. She threw her writing implement across her desk and yelled, "Graphs?" She clearly didn't expect any math in her major of business administration.
Wow.
It didn't take me long to realize I wasn't a good fit for the business administration curriculum and I decided to stick with science.
That was years ago, but now they're whining about reading books?
Oh, we're in so much trouble.

Grand Cat Blog Friday

For this Cat Blog Friday...
... my daughter's cat, Baby, who hides when she hears the sound of packing because she hates going into her cat box. This past Monday she hid in the bed's box spring and my husband ended up lifting the entire bed assembly so our daughter could grab her.
My husband said Baby was very surprised when her cat cave was upended. "Mess with Grandpa and you get an earthquake."
It's always hectic around here, but I'm sure it's that way in many of your homes, too, especially around tax time.
Happy Friday, everybody!
