Giant Manta

Fishermen In Peru Catch GIANT 26ft Manta Ray

This giant manta ray (Manta birostris) weighed in at ~ 1000 kilograms which, for the record, equals 2,204.62 pounds.

WOW!

I caught a small sting ray, about two feet across, and I've never had a fish fight so hard. I thought I had caught a whale. I was six months pregnant and my husband was afraid I'd hurt myself and offered to help me, but I was determined to bring it onto the boat on my own. I didn't know how to fillet it, so I gave it to our friend. Minutes later, I felt another huge tug on the line and sure enough it was another sting ray, a bit larger that the first one.

An exciting day of fishing, but we went home empty handed.

A Shell-fie?

Ever since my daughter got a turtle, I find myself being more interested in turtle stories. This is a really sweet one:

Ultimate Turtle Photobomb

How cute is that.

Worry Sun

I've been torn about this for a while now...

http://www.skincancer.org/prevention/tanning"> The Dangers Of Tanning

I want to sit out in the sun and read a trashy novel in the sun.

The rational part of my brain tells me to read said trashy novel inside.

Which side of my brain do you side with?

Snake Kissssss?

This is one for the, "What In The World Were You Thinking?" file:

Florida Man Tries To Kiss Cottonmouth Snake, Hospitalized After Bite

The Florida Cottonmouth, also known as the Cottonmouth Moccasin, a Water Moccasin, a Moccasin (Agkistrodon piscivorus conanti) "is a venomous snake, a species of pit viper, found in the southeastern United States. Adults are large and capable of delivering a painful and potentially fatal bite. When antagonized, they will stand their ground by coiling their bodies and displaying their fangs."

My husband sees them on the golf course and has seen many a smart golfer just walk away from a ball near this snake.

Play keep away... no kissess.

Sleep Deficit

I have a few questions about this study and you probably do too:

NASA Study Pays To Lie In Bed 70 Days

I only brought this up because today I slept in until 8:30 AM. I don't remember the last time I slept in that long, and I only woke up because my husband yelled at me, "Hey, are you going to sleep all day or what?"

I was in the middle of a dream, too.

Secret Crawlspace

Have you checked, really checked, your house lately?

Two Kids Accidentally Knocked Over A Bookcase, But What Was Behind It Was TERRIFYING.

This is very creepy. Reminds me of that old TV movie of the week Bad Ronald (1974) starring Scott Jacoby.

Mystery Machinations

Articles such as this one from American Thinker encourage me somewhat...

The Astonishing Incompetence Of Hillary's Campaign Rollout

The thought that this scandal-ridden harridan wants us to believe that she's just one of us folks is ridiculous. Remember, this is the woman who once commanded the White House staff to not look her in the face.

Yeah, just one of us common people.

It's a mystery to me that anyone can think of Hillary as presidential, but then again I didn't get the Obola electoral attraction either.

[UPDATE: It didn't take long for this EXCLUSIVE: Campaign staff recruited and DROVE 'everyday' Iowans to Hillary's first campaign stop – including health care 'lobbyist in training' who was an Obama campaign intern and Biden chauffeur

I didn't even bother to capitalize.

Grilled Cheese?

Survey Suggests Grilled Cheese Lovers Have More Sex, Are More Generous

I don't believe any of these stories and I only bring it up, basically, because it has to do with sex and that's always fun:

73% of grilled cheese lovers had sex once a month.

32% of grilled cheese lovers had sex at least six times a month.

?????

Make mine a turkey club.

I'm just saying....

Just Awww

My blog buddy Sandee @ Comedy Plus always does an Awww Monday post...

Instead of my Ewww post yesterday, I should have posted the above.

I'll never look at kitty paws the same way again either.

Crikey!

The natural beauty of Australia is marred by it's wild wildlife. Just looking at a picture of these enormous coconut crabs (above) gave me the creeps, but there are plenty of other hair-raising critters:

27 Reasons Why You Shouldn't Move To Australia

Sorry, mates,

... no shrimp on the barbi for me, at least not in Australia.

Big Job

This Woman’s Job Is To Recast Hillary Clinton’s Image

Good choice, Hillary. Kristina Schake, Moochie Obola's ex-communications chief, did such a good job with her image.

Keep up the good work, Ms. Schake. ;)

Media Matters

Why No Riots For Ricky Shawatza Hall?

Jack Cashill's article in the American Thinker explaines it this way:

"The answer is fairly obvious. “Black lives matter” or “LGBTQ lives matter” only when those deaths advance the agenda of the Democrat-media complex."

Democrat-media complex. That line works for me.

Send-A-Smell App

Why it's taken this long we don't know, but the technology is finally here... the ability to send a smell to your friends via your smartphone.

The Send-A-Smell App comes bundled with a ®windometer smell receiver, this can be attached to any smartphone via the included adapters and using ®greentooth technology converts any smell in close proximity to the receiver to the same frequency your voice is carried over. The included app allows you to select who will receive the smell and the intensity of the smell.

Send-A-Smell App

I love the smell of brewing coffee in the morning...

What smell would you send?
