Yes!!!!!

Year's End Post

2015. What a year.

Can't say I'm sad it's over because I'm not.

Good riddance.

Hope 2016 is kinder to us all.

Black Guns Matter

0bama pulls race card by implying we white rubes don't get him ...

It's Because I'm Black, Isn't It?

No, it's because many of us see you as intellectually dishonest and don't agree with the direction our country is taking under your administration.

By the way, I'm being kind because I don't want the black helicopters hovering over my house...

Ooops, I meant government helicopters. :)

A Merry Star Wars Christmas

Box office is looking great and, according to the critics, J.J.Abrams didn't "eff" it up.

How good is that?

I must say that I'm a little psyched by the early reports.

OK, maybe you're not one of those who agree with me... my own husband is not amused by the movie or the whole franchise, but he married this little geek girl thirty-three years ago and he still puts up with her geekdom.

You can be honest and tell me what you think, but please, no spoilers yet... yes, even my own daughter who's dying to discuss...

Not Judging

I know some people out there view the new Star Wars movie and the entire franchise in the same way I view watching a Jennifer Aniston romantice comedy... Blech.

My husband prefers war movies. Go figure.

To each his own, right?

Just a word to the wise though, I'd listen to Darth Vader's admonition, just in case his galaxy isn't as far away from ours as we think ;)

No really, cheer up.

Life is good :)

Star Trek v Star Wars

If you've known me long enough, you know that I'm a big sci-fi fan.

All You Need To Know About The New Star Wars Movie

That is a very misleading headline. You won't get any real reviews from the mainstream media.

In my view, the last three Star Wars films sucked and so did the last three Star Trek films.

So... it's game on, people.

And that is the most honest review you're going to get.

No Culo Faces Allowed

The word 'culo' [koo-loh] in Spanish means ass and it doesn't refer to your donkey sidekick.

The above people have culo faces. Look at them... angry, bitter, nasty.

Eyes Open, People

My husband watched dear leader's oval office address last night, and this morning he was even more adamant about me and our daughters' welfare in a soft target area.

No surprises there... situational awareness, following the OODA loop cycle (observe, orient, decide and act) developed by military strategist and USAF Colonel John Boyd. That is worth looking into.

I grew up in New York City and developed a big city-hardened situational awareness. When I moved to Florida in 1968, my caution was looked upon as a bit of a paranoid over-reaction by some. Still, I couldn't scrub it out of my psyche even if I wanted to, and so I didn't. I locked my cars in my car port and had several locks on my doors.

...but I worry about my daughters and all the other soft targets there are in America today. How open are their eyes?

How open are yours?

Tortie Cat Blog Friday

For this Cat Blog Friday...

... my beloved kitty, Kinky, a tortie extraordinaire.

Years ago, my sister's co-worker told her they had a silver tabby kitten that needed a home. My sister had a strange look on her face when she brought the kitten over, and when I looked into the cat carrier, I knew why. I thought the poor kitten had been burned in some tragic accident.

That was my introduction to torties.

This little kinky-tailed cat has been the sweetest, most loving cat I've ever had.

And my sister takes all the credit :)

A Slice To Go

Chicago Named The #1 City For Pizza In The U.S.

Sorry about that, but you're WRONG.

I have to say that I love pizza of all kinds, all crusts, but when you start trash talking about who's best... New York rules.

It's all in the fold, baby.

Not Just For Christmas

At our house, there were times when our mom would wear a belt over her neck and call it her jewelry.

The fear of the belt kept us kids in line all year long.

No Ammo For Troops?

Byron York: US Ran Out Of Ammo In Attack On Isis Tanker Trucks

WTF?

How can this be when according to Infowars.com :

"... federal agencies are increasingly hiding their purchases by limiting public information on fbo.gov, it can still be conservatively estimated from available data that the feds have purchased at least 2.11 billion rounds of ammunition since April 2012 which is enough to kill 30% of world's population."

DHS TO PURCHASE 62 MILLION MORE ROUNDS OF AR-15 AMMO

How in the world can our troops run out of ammo when Forbes reports that the DHS has issued an open purchase order for 1.6 BILLION rounds of ammunition total.

1.6 Billion Rounds Of Ammo For Homeland Security? It's Time For A National Conversation

What kind of f**kery is this?

"Vetting"

You Will Never Guess How The U.S. Is 'Vetting' Syrian Refugees

When it comes to refugees from Syria, what is called "vetting" relies mostly on one source of information: the refugee.

Would a refugee lie?

Seriously?

We didn't even vet one undocumented kenyan moslem before letting him into the white house and we're going to "vet" thousands upon thousands of refugees?

Puh leeze. This lunacy is insulting my intelligence.

First Of The Storm

Ironic Timing - Report: First Load Of Anticipated "10,000 Syrian Refugees" Has Arrived In New Orleans

"The future must not belong to those who insult the Prophet of Islam." - barack hussein obama (or whatever his name really is)

I wonder if in the wake of the terror attacks in Paris, Obama will change his perspective on islam...

"I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction." - barack hussein obama (or whatever his name really is)

Naw. I see obama doubling down on anti-American policies and letting in countless more "innocent refugees" past our borders.

*sigh*

We need a president who stands with America. Remember that on election day in Novemeber, 2016... if we survive the coming storm.

Protests

I predicted there would be more protests on campuses all over the country. Well, so it begins...

I wonder if Americans were to throw ourselves to the streets and protest, we could oust our illegitimate president?

I like the idea.

Missy Moo's Vet Visit

Missy, aka Missy Moo, shows off her crazy eyes in better days.

Seriously, doesn't she have crazy eyes?

Anyway, today is her day be spayed and her crazy eyes knew something was up because my daughter couldn't get her into the plastic cat carrier. My husband couldn't either. So we decided to use our old standby... the cardboard box you get from the vet and we were able to wrangle her into that, but she did not go willingly.

Tells you much about how we re-use (I hate the word recyle) stuff, the box had many names crossed off the area where the cat's name is supposed to go... but, hey, in a pinch, it worked.

Best wishes for Missy Moo.

Poor baby :(

Yoko Ono Admits: ‘I Had A Lesbian Affair With Hillary Clinton’
