Feline Mother Teresa

This is our cat Felix on the morning when our youngest daughter was having her wisdom teeth extracted. She was on meds and somehow got poor Felix caught up into a Mother Teresa moment...

Cat Blog Friday

For this Cat Blog Friday...

... what better in October than a vampire cat... Catcula.

Happy Friday everybody.

Fall In Florida

A local weatherman, Paul Dellegatto, says, "Ahhhh. Crisp. Refreshing. October 16th."

I'm not complaining.

Did Someone Say Candy?

Top Halloween Candy by State [Interactive Map]

2.6 billion dollars (or more) will be spent on Halloween candy this year and that is estimated to be about $27 per household.

I probably spend more than that because I like to provide a nice mix of chocolate and hard candy in addition to an innocent Halloween scare.

By the way, what's your candy poison?

No Flag, No Sale

After Omitting US Flag On Moon, ‘First Man’ Takes Beating At Box Office

History is what it is. Leaving out the scene where the U.S. flag is planted on the moon is a lie of omission meant to appease the globalists who don't like to hear about American exceptionalism.

I wouldn't watch that movie if they paid me.

Strange Stone, Not Sharon

The Mysterious Hypatia Stone Doesn't Match The Ingredients of Our Solar System

The material is dubbed the "'Hypatia Stone' after Hypatia of Alexandria (c. A.D. 350–370 – A.D. 415) the outstanding woman philosopher, astronomer, mathematician and inventor."

Major contributors to our understanding of the matter are Jan Kramers and Gregory Belyanin of the University of Johannesburg, South Africa. Their university reported that they "found exotic micro-mineral compounds in the 'Hypatia' stone that are not known to occur on Earth, elsewhere in our solar system, or in known meteorites or comets."

I love a good mystery.

October Time

Gun Control Advocate Jamie Lee Curtis Becomes Icon For Armed Self-Defense In ‘Halloween’ Sequel

I found this very humorous.

Jamie Lee, I still love you, but a word to the wise... if you're an actor, leave politics to the politicians.

In Praise Of Columbus

Sorry to let it go past, but it's still worth honoring Columbus day. This is an article that is well worth the read:

Ignored History: Columbus Sought To End Islamic Tyranny

Yet, Columbus Day is being minimized in more and more places everywhere every year.

Doesn't that make you wonder?

Oh, Hillary Please!

Hillary Says Series Of Sex Claims Against Bill Are NOT Like The Kavanaugh Confirmation Because Her Husband Faced 'intense investigation'

Is Hillary now doing not-so-funny stand up comedy?

Kavenaugh endured, not six, but seven investigations by the FBI and no inappropriate allegations were proven factual.

As a lawyer, Hillary, you should know there is a big difference between the two investigations... one found NO proof and the other found PROOF, as in a blue dress.

If Monica Lewinsky hadn't kept that dress (at the behest of Linda Tripp), she would've been destroyed.

I would think that would be obvious to most people by now.

Loud Sour Woman

Women's March Leader Linda Sarsour Launches Racial Attack Against 'White Woman' Susan Collins"

Not that I'm a big defender of Susan Collins (I really thought she'd cave and very glad she didn't), but really Miss Linda Sansour-puss, let's talk about women's rights under sharia law!

[crickets sound]

Oh, that's right, because under sharia law women have NO rights.

And she's lecturing me about laws about women's rights?

And that American women are supporting this is ever-so galling.

GOP-doxxing Suspect Arrested; Worked Or Interned For Feinstein, Jackson Lee, Other Dems

For the record, this pencil-necked geek worked for:

Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif.

And also for the record...

Let me guess...some Soros funded anti-Trump shenanigans?

Cat Blog Friday

For this Cat Blog Friday...

... a conservative cat because the country can't be run well by the alternative.

Florida GOP Demands Andrew Gillum Fire Staffer Who Wore Profane Shirt Insulting Trump Voters

The paper published the photo, which says in writing that the blue states form “The United States of America,” while the red states are labeled “Dumbf---istan.”

A spokeswoman for Gillum told the Times they had addressed the explicit shirt with Orozco-Ballestas, adding that they won’t "be lectured about words by the Party of Trump."

It must be nice to be able to walk around feeling as though you never have to apologize for any egregious act...

Silly wabbits... like it or not, the country is being run by the party of Trump. Read it and weep :)

Happy Friday, everybody!

What Fake Next?

I'm reading the news and a skull-faced asteroid is just managing to miss killing us all.

New Dino

New 26,000-pound Dinosaur Discovery Was Earth's Largest Land Animal

Until a new biggest dinosaur discovery is unearthed, but that's the way science progresses.

Meet Ledumahadi mafube, a relative of the brontosaurus, and whose name means "a giant thunderclap at dawn."

As a child growing up in New York, a class trip to the Museum of National History was even cooler than our fantastic visit to the Statue of Liberty. I was, and still am, a fan of dinosaurs and when I walked up to those enormous skeletons, I didn't want to leave and the teacher had to literally drag me out of the room.

Seeing them up close was an unforgettable experience. I'm still a fan and now we welcome a new member.

Michael Moore Says He'll Move To Canada If New Film Leads To Trouble

Seriously, I don't need trouble to wish you would go away. I would prefer you to go away without trouble, but the idea of "documentary" filmmaker multimillionaire Michael Moore leaving the USA would be a blessing to the USA. Please do us a huge favor and spare us the trouble, and go away... to Canada... to Serbo Croatia... better yet, to South Africa. Just go away. You won't be missed.

The Big T?

The Drive To Sink Kavanaugh Is Liberal Totalitarianism

Recently I came across a situation where a person who commented something very mildly questioning an event at a live cat cam and it became a call for blocking this person. I didn't think this person was a troll, but thought she was just raising an issue she was uninformed about, but was a valid concern had she known better. I came to her defense and, thankfully, so did others. Big brother is alive and well in more places than you suspect.

I can't believe the current hysteria to stop free speech in this country. Free speech is a basic tenet of our nation's foundation, for Pete's sake. I don't care what side of the political spectrum you happen to fall upon, but it behooves all of us to protect this basic right.

We can listen to years of farrakhan's hateful speech and that's not censored. Heck, he earned a front row seat at Aretha Franklin's funeral, but we can't listen to conservatives?

We can listen to rev. jeremiah wright's hate-mongering and how he ministered to obola and his family for years, and that's overlooked, but we can't listen to conservatives?

There is some controversy about who said this, but it's TRUE today ... "I Disapprove of What You Say, But I Will Defend to the Death Your Right to Say It."

If you're an American, you do believe this.

Remember this when you vote in November.

Are Women Penalized More Than Men in Tennis? Data Says No

We must forgive Serena Williams because she is so new to the game that she hasn't grasped the rules of the sport yet... /s

Yeah, right.

Sorry Serena, your royal highness, but as wonderfullyfantabulist you are at tennis, you aren't above the laws of tennis or those of being a nice human being.

Congratulations to Naomi Osaka on her win.

Weatherman, All Wet

Weatherman Dramatically Braces For Hurricane Florence While 2 Guys Casually Stroll By

The Weather Channel didn't help itself by releasing this statement:

UPDATE: Sept. 14, 2018, 3:36 p.m. PDT The Weather Channel issued the following statement to BuzzFeed: “It’s important to note that the two individuals in the background are walking on concrete, and Mike Seidel is trying to maintain his footing on wet grass, after reporting on-air until 1:00 a.m. ET this morning and is undoubtedly exhausted.”

At least they didn't make a big deal of the boo boo on the weatherman's knee.

Group Think

LEAKED VIDEO: Google Leadership’s Dismayed Reaction To Trump Election

One quote from CFO Ruth Porat promises that Google will “use the great strength and resources and reach we have to continue to advance really important values.”

To Google's leadership, "really important values" means a progressive, secular globalist, socialist agenda that detests American exceptionalism, yet, all the while loving the money these detested values make possible.

We all knew.

My only surprise is that someone leaked this video.

Whoever you are, good for you!

Corruptocracy, Then And Now

This article from The American Thinker by Jack Cashill revisits the same old characters doing now the same old things they did back then..

Sweden Holds World's First Major 'Women Only' Music Festival

Desolate Lawn

So goodbye, dear friend.

On Sunday, our neighbor's tree service took down a very large oak tree that's been our neighbor for 20 years because it wasn't safe anymore due to a rotted core (see below).

Unfortunately, the tree service broke our water line and we were out of water for 2.5 hours but luckily they were able to temporarily patch the line until a plumbing service could replace it.

Today the plumbers left us without water for almost 3 hours until they were able to replace the entire water line.

Meanwhile our front lawn looks like we called in a mortar barrage.

I keep telling myself, "This too shall pass."

The Professor And Nimrod

What Are We To Make Of The Case Of Scholar Avital Ronell?

The same exact thing we should make out of the case of any professor who abuses a graduate student. Being a scholarly "queer" feminist professor doesn't give you a license to harass.

Easy peasy.

What I found much more interesting than the above story is found in the comments and it involves the backstory surrounding the name Nimrod, which just happens to be the name of the unfortunate graduate student. Did you know that the name Nimrod means "Great Hunter" and when Buggs Bunny called Elmer Fudd "Nimrod", it was because he was being sarcastic and not because it was an insult in and of itself.

Good old Buggs. He continues to entertain me after all these years.

Raw Deception

In this article from the American Thinker, Exposed: the Deep State's Authorship and Publication of the Dossier, author Clarice Feldman nicely summarizes the meta data article by Yaacov Apelbaum, The Mechanics Of Deception.

Yaacov Apelbaum's article is long, but an incredible compilation of facts that expose the fiction of the Mueller investigation. Well worth the read.
