Mahmoud Monday

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad came to speak at the United Nations and at Columbia University today.

I think he made a fool of himself and so did many useful idiots who picketed in his favor.

What do you think?

Seems that the president of the college made some pointed comments, AND ahmadinnerjacket got booed for stating that they didn't kill homosexuals in Iran because they don't have that problem...sure, Wilbur!

lol. Amadinnerjacket is a new one to me.

Anyone someone at lucianne.com referred to Mahmoud as juiceless and I thought that was such an apt description because he does remind me of a raisin... a cold-blooded, murderous raison.

I will have more to say about this tomorrow, once I've had a chance to read the transcript of the lies, er I mean, the speech from the Raisin Leader himself.

That little twerp is scary, and since I have NO respect for him, I don't even try to learn his name, he isn't worthy! I do hitler, stalin and satan the same way!

I agree with you. I see him as an aspiring apocalyptic twirp, and it hurts me to see even one American picketing for his right to free speech when, in his country, they don't even know the meaning of the phrase.

What are we teaching our university students?

I think it's sad that the people picketing at Columbia have probably read neither the U.S. Constitution or the Bill of Rights.

It's further evidence of how ill-informed the student body and professors of Columbia are that they had to hear Ahmadinejad speak at the University in order to discover that at best he's a blithering idiot and at worst he's a delusional, crazy person.

I almost feel sorry for them. It must be very difficult to move through life with such an ability to perceive complexity where none exists and to ignore blatant evils.

voracious: They may have read the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights but they sure didn't understand the essense of either.

at least it was a day without o.j., lohan, spears, hilton, et al...i think the only person who cut into his time was mike tyson, the poor fool!

i've actually been leaving the tele OFF lately and listening more to music.

it was zgirl's birthday and we had a big evening planned and all went off grandly.

Dinny definitely looked like an asshat to anyone with sense... Of course many here *cough* (Dora) don't have any.

And seeing that Dinny OWNS the media in Iran, he can make himself look as good as he wants.

Seems like he took the day to me.

brooke: You and your trolls :-)

As far as Moody's speech goes, I don't think it went as well for him as he thought it would. I don't think he expected Bollinger's introduction.

I'm still flummoxed that he's over your way and giving a speech at a college.

A little surprised (but not much) that the UN are giving him air space too.

However, what's intriguing is how out of his depth he is in a Western developed country.

He is more doltish, more boorish, than is conveyed by Western MSM.

The other aspect is that his exposure to the real US, to real people and real progress isn't necessarily a wasted exercise.

Of course, once back in his own sandpit, he will turn back into a frothing illogical maniac. His dented ego may simply be inflamed by the experience.

caz: I don't understand the 'logic' behind Columbia's invitation either. Liberal thinking at work, I guess.

I don't think exposure to the West will improve Moody's outlook. He is too determined that his way is the right way. There is no reasoning with the despotic megalomania that lives in that brain.
