I was going to ask, how far down his list did he make it?

My sympathies to his family. Good book, by the way. Inspiring.

Man, what a freak thing. It just goes to show that anything can happen.

Boy, talk about bitter irony.

Freeman died from a fall? Good grief!

I read his book and loved it.

And he got only halfway through the list. That's really sad. I'm sure that he thought he had more time. And don't we all think we have plenty of time? There's an important lesson to be gotten from this man's passing.

I never read his book, but I agree that it is very ironic that this adventurous man died at home from a fall. His early death serves as a lesson to all of us.

When I write my book similar to this I think I will just list 5 things to do. That way I will have a pretty good chance of finishing them. Poor guy.

He's a year older than me. Our prayers are with his family.

Haave to give it to him though, even getting halfway to the hudred is a good life.

Sad...and very strange story.

woman: Yes, I thought about Fixx when I heard about this. I also remembered the Rodale Press founder telling Dick Cavett that he was going to live to be 100 & that he felt great and then proceeded to have a heart attack & die. Needless to say, that show never aired.

ken albin: One of my things to do before I die is to write a book... I'd better get writing.

chuck: Ditto. Too young to go, but his co-author said he lived life to the hilt.

edge: The world is full of sad tales like this one. What else would you blog about if it weren't?

beckeye: That isn't ironic...

What a shame he wasn't able to do all those 100 things. The good thing is that he lived striving to do them all. How awful to die so young and in a bizarre way.
