Non Swine Flu

U.S. Officials
Want 'Swine' Out Of Flu Name

What should we call it?

H1N1 doesn't have a nice ring.

The Israelis have dubbed it the Mexican flu.

Any ideas?

I like H1N1... it sort of looks like "hinie" to me. But that might make it too cute sounding.

Maybe 'hinie' would be good. You know, keep it light. I read that people are decorating their face masks.

The AIG Flu.

Or perhaps the Barney Frank Flu.

How about media hysteria flu?

I'm eating a pork steak as I read the article, is that funny or what.

I call it the pig flu.

This administration does have an issue with labeling things. Man caused disasters. Name things but don't actually do anything about them.

I think we should name flu strains for the Presidential Administration during which it emerged

Excellent suggestion RightKlik. How about "Swine Hussein Flu".

The hog wog?
(In oz the flu is often called a wog.)

I love "hog wog"! That's my new name for it. Thanks!

I love the responses. Very creative.

How about manufactured crisis flu?

BTW Hog wog reminds me of Hogwarts.

I've already dubbed it "porcine malady".

It should just be called Mexican flu, or such.

To date there is no science to confirm the link with pigs. The WHO has stated unambiguously that the link to pigs has not been established.

It might all turn out to be a slur on pigs.

There is absolutely NO WAY that Obama will call it the Mexican flu.

Great idea DaBlade. Here's another...

"Montezuma's final solution"

I didn't come up with it, but can't remember where I heard it.

The folks in my homeschool group have just started calling it hiney flu, for the same reason Ananda girl stated....

I also saw someone call it The Aporkalypse. That's catchy, too.

My son has already broken a big bowl of fruit resembling glass, and it is only a year and a half. Luckily I had dug on the ground before the bowl broke into pieces at the point of requiring scientific notation.
