This is ludicrous! This is the school preempting the parents authority to decide which morals or principles to teach their kids. I would be yanking my kid out of that school so quick and giving them a piece of my mind.
Teresa: I wouldn't live in Provincetown in the first place. Even for Massachusetts standards, this is one crazy liberal town. I'm not surprised that they would counsel for condons for children as young as 3.
Brooke: The sexualizating of children has been going on for years. I had a hard time finding modest clothes for my girls and they are in their teens now. It's getting worse by the day.

Holy... okay, I went to school in Suburbia Mass, and we got them in high school, which is probably (definitely) smart.
But elementary??!!?!?!

Lilu: Exactly. High school is another matter. But elementary is just insane.
BTW, Lilu, do you have your multipass? ;-)
My son got a condom in junior high from some place. After talking it over and some contemplation he decided to trade it for (legal) firecrackers.
I red an article about this and the school officials seemed surprised at the reaction of everyone.
BTW Cube, you can keep your heat and humidity. It was miserable going to Disney. We still had fun though.
We got back to Michigan last night and it was 75 deg and not humid. We got out of the van and took a deep breath. Good to be back home.
Really? A first grader needs a condom? For what, making balloon animals?
Why do we not let our kids be kids?
Chuck: I warned you. The Florida heat and humidity makes a potent combo for the uninitiated, but that which doesn't kill you, makes you stronger.
You survived!
