Don't Call My Bluff?

"This May Bring My Presidency Down But I Will Not Yield": Obama Walks Out Of Debt Talks Warning GOP 'Don't Call My Bluff'

Does this man even listen to his own words?

I think his own words are the only ones Obama listens to, and it probably sounds great in his head!

Children and narcissists don't like being challenged...

Its even worse than spoiled brat syndrome... its closer to school yard bullying. "Give me your lunch money or else!"

Brooke: I think you're right. He doesn't hear the annoying whistle when he pronounces the letter 'S'. He doesn't hear the insipid verbiage. He doesn't hear the gaffes. It's all beautific to him. How dare those Republicans challenge The WON!

Silly Rabbit: Obama just wants to redistribute the wealth. Tht's the problem with socialism... eventually you run out of everybody else's money.

His development seems to have been arrested at age 2 1/2.

cube - You mentioned 'Lisbeth Salander' in your Go Girl Post.

Thinking she was real, I googled her, only to find that she is a fictional character.

Today I saw Stieg Larsson's book - The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo - and bought it.

As far as you know me - how will I do with it?

Jan: My nephew will be 2 in November and is at the stage where he replies to all questions with 'No'. The GOP would have an easier time dealing with him over the debt ceiling than with Obama.

Sue: I very much enjoyed all 3 Girl books. If you like intricate mystery/crime fiction, you will enjoy them too. I don't know how you feel about graphic sexual violence, but there is quite a bit of it in these books.

The hardest part is knowing that after book #3, there will be no more adventures of Lisbeth Salander. Larsson died in 2004 shortly after delivering the manuscripts.

All in all, these books make great summer reading and Lisbeth is a heroine you will never forget.

Obama's childish "Don't Call My Bluff?" line makes him look like the only child in the room, not the only adult.

Mr. President:, it's time to take major issues like this seriously.

Yes, you got Bin Laden, and that's great. But that's pretty much the only thing you've done worth bragging about. You're a one-hit wonder, and successful Presidencies are about producing "Thriller's", not single hits.

He should be made to live by this threat.

cube - Thanks for being honest with me. I would not do well with graphic sexual violence.

I'll put it in the drop slot at the library and they can deal with it.

I'm glad I sought your advice before reading a page. (:
