Happy Friday, everybody! It's an extra happy one for us because our youngest is coming home for the first time since going away for her first semester at college.

Brooke: Thanks. We are excited and so is she. When her dad asked her if she was interested in flying down for Labor Day weekend she said, "Um, how do I put this... YES!"
I asked her what she wanted to eat and tonight I'm stuffing peppers. I've got my culinary work cut out for me but it's a labor of love.
Jan: Thanks. Even though we have cell phones, email, and texts, it will be so nice to have her home if only for the weekend.

Sue Hanes: We will talk ourselves silly, stuff ourselves with good food, and then raid the cheesecake. I'm making all her favorites this weekend.
My son is so excited because his middle son is coming home for the first time since school started. I remember my first weekend home from college and how I could not wait to get home and then the surprise of being eager to return to school.
Always great to get the kids back under the roof after they've left for indoctri... I mean college. I always try to use some of that precious little time for de-programming :)
