Never Forget

A dog tag with Michael Weinberg's name has hung on my car's rear view mirror since 2001. This is his story...

In Memorium: Michael Weinberg

There are so many good souls to remember.. he just happens to be mine.

Many years ago over 3000 bloggers were assigned to write about a person killed on 9/11. I was assigned a young man from Germany. Through the years I have had many people from Germany come to my blog to read what I had written.

We forget that other nationalities had losses on that day too.

I remember that project and I realize that other nationalities also lost loved ones. It was an awful time. That's nice that others in the world took the time to comment about their loss.

Something that I did not know... I found out today from Robin Meade on HLN that the ages of the victims from the Twin Towers ranged from 2 to 85 and September 11th, 2001 was her first day at the network.

I am amazed that it seems only conservatives are keeping these memories alive. Hardly a peep, if anything, was heard in the MSM.

The linked article has information about the Michael Weinberg's father, who stated that he was lucky because he got his son's body to bury. So many family members had nothing to bury and, indeed, no remains to mourn.

The Left wants America to forget 9/11 and "coexist." How can one coexist with those sworn to one's own destruction?
