Drinking and sign-making aren't a good idea either.

There is no such thing as a sign proofreader?

We have a street in town misspelled Niagra and we have to live with the sign maker's error.

I don't know how these obvious errors get past those in charge of making signs, but then I'm one of those who gets annoyed by grammatical errors that don't register with most people.

BTW I'm curious about your Niagra sign... Viagra, maybe? ;-)

Sue Hanes: It could have been like something that happened to us. The phenomenon where you look at something and you don't see it...
We bought an 1987 Crevrolet Blazer and didn't figure it out for about 10 days until my brother in law mentioned it.

The road signs at each intersection read "Calvary" road until a two mile stretch that two signs read "Cavalry" road.

And did you see the "Dead End" sign at the cemetery I posted on my blog recently.

Some sign makers need direct supervision.
