Manhattanhenge 2014

Manhattanhenge 2014 Is Tonight

In case you didn't grow up in New York, Manhattanhenge — sometimes referred to as the Manhattan Solstice — is a circumstance which occurs twice a year, during which the setting sun aligns with the east–west streets of the main street grid in the borough of Manhattan in New York City.

If the weather cooperates, we'll see some beautiful photos...

Well, I'll await the photographs as long as I never have to go to NY. I hate the big cities.

Have a fabulous day. ☺

Sandee: I had no choice but to grow up in Manhattan, but I was glad when we moved to Crazyville, a.k.a., Florida. Seriously, I prefer the kooky flora, faura, and people here.

Jan: Yes, they do, but not with human/animal sacrifies. In Manhattan, they celebrate with vodka martinis and cosmopolitans.

That is very cool. I've only been to NY once, but I do agree the Florida sun is pretty too!
