Beware of The BLOG...it creeps, it leaps, it glides & slides all over the place.
Very funny. There seems to be a disconnect between people and the food they eat.
We all know that sausage comes from a pig. I know it comes from the grocery store. They make all that stuff.Bwahahahahahahahahaha. Loved the looks.Have a fabulous day. ☺
Bust out the bacon machine! Love the oink sounds coming from the crank.
Did anyone notice the butcher kept picking up the same piglet? I am guessing the others were not as docile. We definitely don't want to meet our bacon in person.
Jan: I see that. We've gotten so far away the land that we don't see the connection anymore. I learned the connection when I was very little and a bunny I was very close to ended up as "chicken friccasse" one night. An early forensic event in my life occurred when I (Little Columbo) found the bunny's head on the other side of the fence. I didn't eat one bite of dinner that night.
Sandee: I laughed out loud at these people who were so horrified at where their sausage came from. I think it was more because of the instant nature of their sausage and the the squealing pig sounds.
DaBlade: I know. The sound effects were hilarious.
Granny Annie: Yes, the same piglet, and the same shot of the girl who received the piglet. People need to realize that there are people who do slaughter meat for a living and they make it easy for us to disconnect ourselves from nature. The expression, "Nature, red in tooth and claw", is sometimes very far removed from our daily lives.
Too funny! I guess they didn't want to know where their sausage comes from or to hear it cry. They must only eat manufactured pigs that have no squeal.
