I hear ya. I hate the cold, too. Lucky for me, it rarely stays cold in Florida what with all the sun. Right now it's 12:23 and the temperature is already 64 degrees. I've still got my leggings on, though... and socks.
Sweetie is thrilled, and i'm sleeping with the heating pad again. It's okay, it's only a couple of months, not most of the year like in some parts of the world.
Messymimi: So you're married to a polar bear, too ;) It was 55 degrees this morning and my husband still want the A/C on. I say, "why don't you just open the window and let in the cool air?"

Kids here wear flip flops year round no matter the weather.
Jan: In Northern California? I hear it gets pretty chilly up there. I love my flip flops, but I'm not crazy.
I can't wait to get back to the Southwest. It's coming..

ISIS can be tracked in the wide open desert, too, but giving them a 45 minute head start to get out of the gas tanker trucks is not very efficient.
