Our national nightmare is over. Now to repair the damage.

Sandee: There's a definite sea change and for the good.

Jan: To be sure, there is much work to be done, but I think many of us are motivated to do what it takes to undo king putt's damage.

There is much good coming, i'm sure.

I'm looking forward to the next 4 years. I can't imagine enough - no clinton beast. Damn that is Such a bullet dodge.

Some wins some loss
A few of us remain
As we go ahead will
Anything be the same

A few say this a few say that
And still none of us know
I guess we’ll have to wait and see
How the next four will go

Because I have been taught to always have hope, I am looking forward. Once the die has been cast we must keep one foot in front of the other. I have faith in our Nation.

I don't think it always advisable to forget what's gone (unless you are specifically referring to the obama years). Can't wait until he reverts to the skinny community organizer Chicago thug, but now with no eligibility remaining.

Messymimi: I feel it, too. I hope it lasts.

Ed Bonderenka: Amen, indeed.

Kid: I shudder to think of a Hillary administration. We didn't dodge a mere bullet, we dodged an ICBM.

desk49: Oh, a poet. Did you know it? ;)

I agree that we'll have to wait and see. Time will tell the tale.

Granny Annie: I will never bet against the USA and her good people.

DaBlade: I wish I could forget the obama years. Unfortunately I don't think it will be possible to forget when he is planning to be the activist gadfly in the political ointment for years to come.
