Save Leia

Disney Negotiating With Carrie Fisher's Estate To Bring Back Leia

I do wish Disney comes to an equitable agreement with Fisher's estate and bring her back because Leia belongs in the Star Wars saga.

I don't think it would be strange that Leia's role, which began as a hologram, also ended as one in the scheme of things.

We know that it can be done, because it was done. The question is more of how you arrange the plot to make it work.

And would her family want to see it done. Sometimes grief does strange things to people.

That is a great idea that I would bet we will see on the screen

LL: The plot can be worked on because it has been done before. Lucas realized how poorly Jar Jar was received by the public after his introduction so ultimately his role was reduced. In the orignal, Jar Jar was going to have a saviour role and that never happened.

There are many ways Leia can come back. I see more obstacles in the legal world than in the cinematic one.

Messymimi: Grief does work on people in different ways. I see that. Maybe it selfish of me to want to see Leia again, but at this point we're not talking about Carrie Fisher anymore, but of Leia. Don't we have numerous peronifications of Sherlock Holmes or other inconic figures in history?

Jan: There are many ways to keep Leia in the Star Wars saga. I hope they get creative.

I'm sure they will do this at some point. I watched Star Wars with my young son back in the day. Yep, standing in long lines waiting for tickets. You were either in the right spot or you waited for the next show. I so remember.

Have a fabulous day. ☺

Sandee: Long lines, yes. I don't remember them for Star Wars, but I do remember long lines for the B 52s. That was an insanely good concert marred only with way too many flying ashtrays and cups of beer. Why in the world would you spend $5 on beer only to hurl it across the room? I don't know, but it was a good concert.

Leia could have a disfiguring accident with facial reconstruction.

Ed Bonderenka: That's either a super way cool reference or a horrible miss .Either way, lett me know, Ed.
