Bad Sports

LeBron, Curry, Durant Say NBA Champ Won't Go To White House

I know it can't happen, but I'd love to see both teams lose.

I could respond in several ways that would be blatantly racist. So I won't. But if I was president, I wouldn't want them to visit.

President Trump has done more to improve the lives of Black people in America than the past three presidents combined, because the path out of the ghetto is prosperity. It's about jobs and the dignity of work. Of course, multi-millionaire basketball players don't see that and don't care about it.

LL: I feel your pain.

President Trump has improved the lives of African Americans more than Obama did, but you will never convince them of that. Don't even waste your time.

Why even entertain sports jocks in the White House any more. Few value the invitation or experience. Invite sports or any visible personalities for that matter who are making a difference in their community or their country and screw the rest of them. If all you do is drop a ball in a basket or twerk in the end zone, or hit a ball over the fence ya ain't very important in the overall scheme of things. (Zero importance to me..)

Better to invite heroes than sports figures anyway.

it's a stupid tradition at this point IMO. No more pro teams to the White House period. I loved your wish for both teams to lose!

Kid: I agree. Being good at sports doesn't make you a hero in my eyes either. They're not paid to spout off at the mouth and it's getting tiresome to hear a person who's light in the brain tell me how to live.

Messymimi: There are plenty of real heroes that would appreciate a visit to the White House.

DaBlade: Back in the day I used to watch the Celtics, the Cubs and the Olympics. I gave them up and began following the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. That worked for a while and then the big mouths in the NFL killed that for me, too. I have no use for sports anymore.

I say, if you make history - Be part of it! WTH

Snaggle Tooth: History is what it is. If it's bad it's bad, but if it's good it's good. Sometimes it depends on your perspective.
