Will Media Ignore Michelle Obama Remark? “For the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country,” Michelle Obama told a Milwaukee crowd, “because it feels like hope is making a comeback.”
I'm so sorry that this country has been so hopeless for so many years for this Princeton (Sociology-major, African American studes-minor) and Harvard Law graduate ** sarcasm off **
It's a hard life, Michelle. Haaard.

Well at least she can pronouce the words right.
Yeah, that makes her anti-American stance all the better to stomach.
Fasten your seatbelts...
it could be a bumpy ride.
My Hillary alert alarm is going off. Anyone else see some similarities?
It's a hard life, Haaard.
Where have I heard that before ... {{pondering}} Oh wait! ... duh!!
Of course... our wonderful commander-in-chief!!
btw, just like in the state-of-the-union address, I've posted a rebuttal over at my place. :o)
miladysa: I'm strapped in ;-)
jan: Yes I do. Both have gone to law school, yet they still manage to say the dumbest things.
karen: Can't get anything past you... ;-)
Yes, he is a wonderful commander-in-chief.
Barf.
Maybe she IS Obama in a wig...
if we have to listen to that type of "pride" crappe for four years, i'll have my satellite turned off!
what an ingrate..sickening!
brooke: Interesting concept, but I've seen them together.
nanc: Imagine the hopelessness you'd feel if you had only
attended private schools all your life, then Princeton, then Harvard Law, then married to a would-be Senator. Why this country has never given this poor downtrodden woman anything to be proud of...
angel: absolutely. I second brooke's, "Barf!"
Maybe this is what comes from too much "feeling" and not enough "thinking". Honestly, what do they teach in law school anymore?
Boy she's going to be a real pill in the White House...
What an ignoramus! I think she actually was stupid enough to PLAN to say that - it wasn't a slip up.
I'm just speechless.
edge: Hold your horses. She's not in there yet.
eyes: There's also a lot of rage behind a comment like that.
jen: You? Say it ain't so ;-)
McCain should take the opportunity to ask Obama & Hillary to control their respective spouses.
Them's fightin' words!!
I can't believe she said that, but I heard it with my own ears. I don't understand a statement like that, even if some say she didn't mean it to sound like it did.
If Obama loses, will she stop being proud of her country??? She said her newfound pride has nothing to do with Obama doing well... then what DOES is have to do with???
j.d.: I think with that mindset, she will cry racism if Obama loses the election.
