Happy St. Patrick's Day
First a little drinking humor:
AN IRISH BET
A Texan walks into a pub in Ireland and clears his voice to the crowd of drinkers. He says, "I hear you Irish are a bunch of hard drinkers. I'll give $500 American dollars to anybody in here who can drink 10 pints of Guinness back-to-back."
The room is quiet and no one takes up the Texan's offer.
One man even leaves. Thirty minutes later the same gentleman who left shows back up and taps the Texan on the shoulder. "Is your bet still good?" asks the Irishman.
The Texan says yes and asks the bartender to line up 10 pints of Guinness.
Immediately the Irishman tears into all 10 of the pint glasses drinking them all back-to-back.
The other pub patrons cheer as the Texan sits in amazement.
The Texan gives the Irishman the $500 and says, "If ya don't mind me askin', where did you go for that 30 minutes you were gone?"
The Irishman replies, "Oh ... I had to go to the pub down the street to see if I could do it first.
*************************************************************************************
And I'll leave you with an Irist toast...
May your pockets be heavy—
Your heart be light,
And may good luck pursue you
Each morning and night.

Nice joke. Should have called the guy paddy just to make it complete ;)
May the road rise up to meet you
the wind be always at your back
and I don't remember the rest.

(not an Irish bird)
Everybody's Irish on St Paddy's Day. Here's the rest of what you wanted to say...
May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.
And rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.
:-)
Happy St. Patrick's Day, Cube :)
I loved the joke!
Loved the joke, Cube.

Happy St. Paddy's to ya!!

Thanks, Cube..
Happy St. Patrick's Day to you, too.

Happy St. Paddy's day, Cube!
Top 'o the mornin to ya Cube..green hugs!
Ha ha.
I have one:
A Frenchman, Italian and an Irishman were all sitting at a bar drinking a pint.
A fly came along and landed in the Frenchman's beer. Disgusted, the Frenchman pushed his glass away and asked the bartender for a new one.
Another fly came along and landed in the Italian's beer. The Italian pulled it out, threw it on the ground, shrugged and continued drinking.
A third fly came along and landed in the Irishman's beer. The Irishman pulled it out, grabbed it by the wings and shook it violently, screaming, "SPIT IT OUT! SPIT IT OUT!!"
Ta-daaa.
Great laughs here today!!! Happy, happy St. P's and happy birthday to your girl. Cheers!
A blessed St. Paddy's Day to you, Cube.
Funny Joke, also like the one by BeckyEye.
I married a Irish woman who has red hair. My youngest son who's 20 has red hair.
My father-in-law told me this one:
What's Irish and sits in the sun all day.
Pati-o Funiture.
Here's another:
What did God have the Irish invent Whiskey?
So they wouldn't take over the world!
Don't drink to much...you don't want to be see no Leprechauns.
A fun note: did anyone see the outtakes from the new "Star Trek" Movie. There's a seen where Kirk and Spoke are both doing a scene with Irish accents. Very Funny!
Shalom!
Funny, have a happy St Valentines day
HAHAHHAHAHA! and here I am a day late!
Teresa: Glad you liked it.
Jen: Thay may be a good thing, Hurley.

Brooke: I thought it was funny too.
WomanHonorThyself: Is it wrong to say 'bottom o'the evenin' to you'
when it's late in the day? If so, I take it back ;-)
BeckEye: lol. Good one, but not as good as mine :-P
Ananda Girl: Cheers. We'll be doing our celebrating on Thursday night.
Always On Watch: Thank you.
Wisdom From Torah: Thanks for the humor. In these times, the more the better, if you ask me.
I hadn't heard about the Star Trek outtakes. I'm going to have to try to find those.
Chuck: heh heh. I hope your Chinese Lunar New Year's eve was a good one ;-)
Steve Harkonnen: That's OK. I think the Irish must have a little ditty about how it's better late than never.

Cube, I went back and read my response. I don't know??? Just for the record, I had not been in the green beer yet.
Chuck: So the mystery grows ;-)
