Way to live long and prosper. Can you believe he's 79?

No cats here, but I do love Star Trek. Spock is looking pretty old these days.

Spock was always my favorite character in the original. In fact, he and Sulu were the only ones I liked!

btw, you've got a dem word verification for me right now:
welie

WomanHonorThyself: I will try to have a good weekend by thinking of anything but the Obamanation.
That should do it.

Debbie: You know I'm a big Trek fan, but I disagree about Nimoy. I think he looks good for 79 and he hasn't had all the work Shatner has had done to his face.

Birdwoman: I had a brief chrush on Captain Kirk when I when was a wee lass, but I came to my senses and realized that Spock was the best man.

welie or they lie. You're not one of them are you?????? ;-)

And his 'bud, Bill Shatner turned 79 on Monday this week.Interesting that they were both born in 1931, five days apart.

Mr. Spock and the cat do go together well, IMO. I think it's the eyes.

I saw Leonard Nimoy live at Wolftrap some years ago. You can read that post at my archives site. Yes, Nimoy got old! Even his voice, to some extent.

Spock was always my favorite too. I watched him as a kid. Never got into the Captain much

I said a DEM verification - they lie so they'd say "welie"

and now your verification is gohel.

what are you trying to tell me?!

Dorie: I know. Small world, eh? The odds must be astronomical, but then Katie Couric and I are only 4 days apart and we're best friends too ;-)

BTW my sister's birthday is March 23rd and, for years, I have teased her about being born on Karl Malden's birthday. Had she been born one day earlier, I wouldn't have been able to torment her at all. Shatner is just too cool.

Always On Watch: They do go well together. I think it's in the ears :-)

BTW I remember that post. It was an event I would've loved to attend. That was back in 2006. Gosh, we do go back a long way, don't we?

Chuck: Except for a brief girlish infatuation with Kirk, I liked Spock the best. Can't beat those Vulcans. Don't know why in the world the reboot Trek decided to destroy the planet. Sheesh.

Birdwoman: lol! I am the puppet master controlling your word verifications.

At least it wasn't "slypopal" which I got once and still remember. It's not a real word, but it should be.

What a great pic.

Happy B-day, Nimoy. Live long and prosper, and all of that!

Spock was my favorite as well. It is shocking to see our heroes grow old. I saw Dennis Hopper the other day... though not really my hero... and was shocked that he looked as old as my father who is 82!

If anyone is selling green quality gems for 5 gold or less, buy them all and vendor them. them worth more than the face value of 5 cents. If you look at Ryan's graph of traffic history in his AdSense and Amazon earnings Hub (which I have linked above), you will notice that there is a fairly continuous line of pink at the bottom.
