Time flies when you're zooming through space.

Cube - Happy anniversary to you trekkies - and that is a really cute picture.

Funny this all came from a show that had moderate success in it's first run.

If only we could have done the same for Firefly

Happy Trekesversary!

Jan: The speed of light is relative.

Sue Hanes: Thank you. We are celebrating in our geeky way.

Chuck: I don't know why, but Firefly just didn't get the fan base Star Trek did. I like both shows.

Always On Watch: So do I.

Brooke: Happy Trekeversary to you too!

Think of how many hours they have entertained us! Star Trek truly changed the way we have been entertained and opened up the doors to so many other great movies and shows. That is certainly worth celebrating!

Holy cow! I posted this very thing on my Facebook page and even had the audacity to ask some of my talented friends who love to bake to do this for my birthday.

I LOVE Star Trek!

Cube - Ok. Have fun.

But I still can't believe you dumped Shatman for Spock.

I mean - that's like going from the sublime to the ridiculous.

Kirk is a man-ho. Spock is hawt. Either one. ;)

A side note: I loved Spock's makeup in the pilot (the one with Pike); it looked more natural.

I was watching some first season DS9 last night and noticed the same thing with Odo. His makeup was waaaay better early on.

Silly Rabbit: Agreed. Woot.

Leticia: If you have friends who can bake cute Trek cookies, I want them to be my friends too.

Sue Hanes: I came to the realization that Kirk would never be faithful. Brooke is right when she calls him a man-ho.

Brooke: The Paramount suits thought Spock looked too satanic and they toned down the makeup after the pilot.

I haven't watched an episode of DS9in years and never really noticed a change in Odo's makeup. I guess I was too busy being disgusted by the Kira & Odo romance ;-)

Cube: That's what Dave said about Spock! BS on Paramount, I say!!!

Go back and watch DS9 Episode: Babel. You will really notice the difference from you memory with Odo!

*your*

Our 'good' keyboard died and I'm using an older one with bulky keys; makes typing difficult.

Brooke: Babel was a good episode. I always wondered how the cast kept a straight face reciting their lines. I will remember to check out Odo's makeup next time I watch it.
