Awww.... I love it! We had to do that for one of cats, named, "Teddy."
We eventually had to give him away. Because we just could't stop him from peeing everywhere. We even had him on kitty prozac for a while.
Apparently, he was missing the bottle???
Who knows, but we found him a happy home and he was reunited with his mother and they both wound up outside cats living in a wooded area. Very happy and he could pee where he wanted.
Leticia: Too bad about you and Teddy. I'm glad he finally found a forever home where he can throw pee parties to his heart's content.
We've had to deal with these issues ever since Mr. Cube banned the kitty litter in the house. 2 of our 3 cats have gotten the memo, but 1 slips up now and then. Oy! And because she's "my beloved", I get to clean up after her.
My point about the bottle was that feeding from a bottle does no harm, whether it's a cat or an infant. Militant breastfeeders really get on my nerves. If you read subsequent articles about this case, the professor was clearly out to push some buttons and used her sick child as a prop.

When I was a kid my family and I once raised three kittens on a bottle. Great memories. They turned out to be more like dogs.
The closest I got to that was helping my Confirmation godmother feed baby parakeets with a toothpick. Feeding kittens sounds like more fun.
BTW I have a tortie who is very dog-like in her actions, do you suppose you fed her too? ;-)
